Hawks got off to a decent start and they managed to do this despite the bowlers of Ali Youngstars trying their best to wreck their plans. Kamran Zia and Ameer Hamzah both got off to good starts of their own, but it would have been nicer had they carried on from where they left. The bowlers of Ali Youngstars tried a lot of tricks, but nothing really seemed to come off today.

They need not lose heart as such things happen. Hawks had got the game really close, and needed just 30 runs off the last two overs, but Karamat Subhani bowled a fascinating penultimate over to stem the flow of runs for the batting side. Subhani ensured that he gave away just seven runs off the ninth over, and with 23 runs needed off the last, the Hawks were in search of a miracle.

Left arm seamer Farooq Ahmed bowled a really tight over, and tried to ensure that Ali Youngstars got two consecutive wins over the Hawks in a single day, but it was not to be. Aamir Javid and Muhammad Sohail kept their nerves and a no-ball signalled by the umpire at the end made sure that they could take revenge on their opponents. This was a rather exciting fixture and one through which Hawks can take a lot of heart and confidence.
