That was a thoroughly dominating performance by Tamil Nadu to get the convincing win. Their bowlers did a splendid job to restrict the Assam batsmen to a mere 126, with Murugan Aswhin, Sai Kishore and M.Mohammed, all bagging a brace. Riyan Parag and Rajjakuddin Ahmed didn't go down without a fight, battling with a final flourish which wasn't enough in the end. The Tamil Nadu openers, Narayan Jagadeesan and Hari Nishanth came out all guns blazing to chase this minimal total down quickly and did exactly that! Nagadeesan reached his half-century and went off to finish the game off in style, while his partner narrowly missed out on his mini landmark. The two openers lead their side to victory in the within 15 overs, remaining unbeaten in doing so as well to complete commanding win to send their side to the top of their group.

Tamil Nadu jumped to the top of their group with that mesmerizing win helping their net run rate as well, while Assam sit in fourth place with four points. That's it from me(Pratyush) and my colleague Abhinav, signing off for now. Stay tuned with SportsKeeda as the cricketing action resumes tomorrow. Thank you for joining us, goodnight!
It was a poor bowling performance by Assam. The Tamil Nadu openers, especially Jagadeesan has finished things off in style, while his partner Nishanth narrowly misses out on his half-century, to complete this dominating win for their w\side!

Tamil Nadu win by 10 wickets.

Narayan makes some room for himself and plays an extravagant inside-out shot over the extra cover region for a boundary to kill the chase for Tamil Nadu and reach the victory shores! TN's NRR would have been given a major fillip! A 10 wicket victory!

14.4 Amlanjyoti Das to Narayan Jagadeesan, tossed up ball on the legstump, worked away comfortably to deep square leg for a quick brace. The shoulders have dropped of the Assam fielders and they are letting the batsmen steal easy runs

The Assam fielding continues to let their side down here as Jagadeesan wants to finish this quickly now! Nishanth will want him to leave some runs for him so he can get to his half century and complete this bullying victory!
