With India finishing off the series and with Hardik Pandya capping off humdinger in style, my colleague Shaswat Kumar and I, Lavil Saldanha take your leave, as we go back and relish the sweet memories this game gave us. On the highlights reel, Natrajan's spell of 2/20 in 4 overs and swashbuckling innings from Hardik Pandya is a must-watch if you're an Indian fan. Till then, it's goodbye from our side. SEE YA!!
Hardik Pandya is awarded the man of the match for his swashbuckling cameo knock of 42 runs in 22 balls
Hardik Pandya: It was easy for me as I saw the scoreboard and played according to my strengths. I did many mistakes in the past in a crucial situation and have learned from it and improved from it too. My game is mostly around the confidence levels I carry, but I make sure there is a fine line between confidence and overconfidence. Special mention to T. Natarajan as I thought he will be the man of the match because none of the other bowlers has a good day but he had an excellent outing in particular
India win the match by 6 wickets and seals the series 2-0 with one game to go
WHAT. A GAME. What a game have we witnessed here. This was one heck of a chase here which was very well nailed by the batting contingent for India. They had a mammoth target on the board, but they held their nerve, batted out well, and won the game and the series in total.
So, this is how everything panned out for India. They had a target of 195 runs on the board. Dhawan and Rahul got off to a cautious start and then got the roller skates running as they began smoking the ball to all corners of the park. India had a tad better powerplay as both the batsmen scored runs in big chunks before KL Rahul got out looking to play a big shot and India finishing the powerplay on 60/1 after 6 overs.
India has a rather slow-moving middle overs phase. Virat Kohli and Dhawan kept the scoreboard ticking as Dhawan got to his 50, but fell soon after, looking to sweep Swepson hard there. Sanju Samson came in, batted along well as he got a few boundaries rolling but perished soon, looking to hit a six. Hardik Pandya got a little promotion in the batting attack and got the runs rolling as India looked better at the middle overs phase.
Virat Kohli fell soon, looking to up the ante as he nicked one back to Matthew Wade off the bowling of Daniel Sams. Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer held the fort for India, got the runs flowing, and got the equation down to 14 runs in 6 balls. In the end, Hardik Pandya wielded his willow hard and brought India glory as he finished the match in style
The bowling lacked the spear for Australia as the usual suspects missed out in the bowling attack and thus went for plenty in the spell. Swepson was one such bowler who was really good and delivered with the ball in hand conceding the least amount of runs and picking a wicket.
19.4 Daniel Sams to Hardik Pandya, SIX! RIGHT OUT OF THE SCREWS! FINISHES IT IN STYLE! Slower delivery that lands right in the arc on middle and leg stump. Pandya sits deep in his crease and smears it way over cow corner for a maximum!
19.3 Daniel Sams to Hardik Pandya, sharp bumper at the batsman on leg stump. Pandya backs away and looks for the upper cut but is late on the shot as the ball whistles past his bat. Dot ball!
19.2 Daniel Sams to Hardik Pandya, SIX! BAM! Right in the slot on middle and leg stump and Pandya gets his front foot out of the way before bludgeoning it way over wide long on for a maximum! Gets the ball in the arc there, Pandya hits this one flush on the advertising board
19.1 Daniel Sams to Hardik Pandya, slower delivery on a back of a length on leg stump. Pandya clears his front leg and mows it away into the leg side towards deep square leg for a couple
The equation stands at 14 runs in 6 balls. Hardik Pandy and Shreyas Iyer stand at two ends. Daniel Sams will bowl the last over. Can India ace it off in this over?

Andrew Tye
18.6 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, back of a length delivery outside off stump. Pandya takes his bottom hand off the bat and cuts the ball straight to the fielder at backward point for a single. 14 off the final over. Into MS Dhoni territory now, eh!?
18.5 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, FOUR! SHOT! Right in the slot outside off stump. Pandya sits deep in his crease and crunches a cover drive over extra cover for another boundary! Right then! Pandya is on the move! Gets the ball in his arc and the ball flies over the infield and runs away for a boundary. Top-notch from Pandya here
18.4 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, FOUR! STREAKY! Low full toss outside off stump and Pandya throws the kitchen sink, the appliances and a bit of food at it too! He gets a thick outside edge that flies over short third man for four. Gets the thick outside edge there, Pandya, and the ball runs away for a boundary
18.3 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, slower delivery on a full length outside off stump. Pandya nearly swings a couple of days early and again only connects with the fresh Sydney air!
18.2 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, length delivery well outside off stump. Pandya throws his hands at it and only manages to swish and miss. Massive dot ball, in the context of the game!
18.1 Andrew Tye to Hardik Pandya, full delivery on middle and off stump. Pandya gets onto the front foot and pastes it down the ground towards long on for a couple of runs. Excellent running!
Huge over for India here. Adam Zampa is hit for 12 runs in the over and smashes the ball all over the park here and have the game equally tipped in each of their favor. India needs 23 runs in 12 balls.
Andrew Tye comes in to bowl an all-important 19th over

17.6 Adam Zampa to Shreyas Iyer, FOUR! SHOT! Marginally short outside off stump and that is just the sort of length Iyer is after! He rocks onto the back foot and scythes it past point for four. Iyer gets the ball outside off, cuts the ball hard and the ball runs away for a boundary. Top shot
17.5 Adam Zampa to Shreyas Iyer, quicker on a length just outside off stump. Iyer comes forward and flays the ball straight to the fielder in the ring at backward point. DOT BALL!
17.4 Adam Zampa to Shreyas Iyer, SIX! BANG! Right in the slot on middle and leg stump and Iyer plants his front foot before absolutely moussing it over deep mid-wicket for a maximum! Iyer gets the ball in the arc there and he dispatched it al the way for a huge maximum
