Player of the match:
That brings an end to this Australian tour. Thank you for joining Sportskeeda's live match coverage. And until next time, it's a goodbye from us!
Virat Kohli is handed the trophy and he is joined by his teammates. As usual, youngsters Mohammed Siraj and Vijay Shankar in the center with the trophy.
MS Dhoni is the Player of the Series as he ends the series with 193 runs at an average of 193.00.
Yuzvendra Chahal is the Man of the Match for his exceptional spell of 6/42.
This game was set up by Chahal and India's pacers as they restricted the hosts to 230 in the first innings. India were rocked early losing Rohit Sharma early and then Dhawan after his indifferent knock. Dhoni walked in at No. 4 and shared a 54-run stand. However, Kohli's wicket (for 46) spurred the Aussies on as they were very tight with their lines and lengths. However, Jadhav (61 not out) combined with Dhoni (87 not out) to stitch a fantastic unbeaten 121-run partnership. Australia were very sloppy on the field. They dropped catches, missed runouts and that eventually costed them in the end. Dhoni was dropped on 0 (first ball) and that probably was the turning point in the game. Dhoni silently finishes another runchase. May not be like he used, but in his own new way in his all new role. He was there right till the end and his average in winning run-chases might've just tipped over 100. But credit to Australia for the way they bowled and hung in there and took the game to the final over.
India end the tour unbeaten. They leveled the T20I series 1-1 before making history by winning the Test series 2-1. The round up the tour with a 2-1 ODI series win and this after being 0-1 down after the first game.
There it is, Jadhav finishes it off with hoick to cow-corner. India win by 7 wickets and 4 balls to spare! They clinch the series 2-1.
49.2 FOUR! Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav. Off cutter length ball, outside off stump down the track driving, well timed in the air under control past long on for 4 runs.
49.1 Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav. Yorker, off stump on the front foot pushing, to mid off for no runs, fielded by Finch.
One to get off the final over! Stoinis to bowl it. The field is up.

48.6 Peter Siddle to MS Dhoni. Yorker, to leg on the front foot working, to short mid wicket for no runs, fielded by Zampa.
In the slot and Dhoni drills one past the bowler for his 6th boundary. He sports a big smile on his face.
48.5 FOUR! Peter Siddle to MS Dhoni. Half volley, outside off stump on the front foot driving, well timed past long off for 4 runs.
48.5 Wide Peter Siddle to MS Dhoni. Length ball, to leg on the front foot glancing, Play and Miss (Leg Side) to wicketkeeper for 1 run, fielded by Carey.
Remember Dhoni was dropped on 0 by Maxwell. That has proved to be extremely costly.

48.3 Peter Siddle to Kedar Jadhav. Yorker, middle stump down the track defending, back to bowler for no runs, fielded by Siddle.
Jadhav lifts one over the infield to get another boundary. Slower ball and he gets it up and over cover to bring the equation under a run-a-ball.
48.2 FOUR! Peter Siddle to Kedar Jadhav. Length ball, outside off stump backing away driving, well timed in the air under control past deep extra cover for 4 runs.
48.1 Peter Siddle to MS Dhoni. Full toss, to leg on the front foot flick, to fine leg for 1 run, fielded by Stanlake.
14 off the last 2 overs! India clear favourites to clinch the series from here.
Jadhav finishes the over with a boundary and that's fifty for the little man. He's played really well and adapted to the situation. Gave the charge and converted it into a full-toss and then guided it past point to fetch an important boundary.

47.6 FOUR! Marcus Stoinis to Kedar Jadhav. Full toss, wide outside off stump down the track driving, well timed past third man for 4 runs.
