That is all that we have from the Basin Reserve in Wellington for today! Australia Women were mighty impressive in all three departments and it was a pleasure for us to be able to bring to you, all of that! Player of the Match: Ellyse Perry [8-0-22-3]

The West Indies did not have enough runs on the board to challenge this Australian batting line-up, but they did make it a little harder for Meg Lanning's team, before losing with plenty of deliveries to spare.

With only 131 runs to defend, Stafanie Taylor's side came out with a positive body language and did exactly what was asked of them - take early wickets. They dismissed both Alyssa Healy and Meg Lanning cheaply and on both occasions, Hayley Matthews was involved. There seemed to be a spring in her step today as she also managed to bowl a couple of maiden overs, making life just that bit more difficult for Australia.

But the 50-run stand between Rachel Haynes and Ellyse Perry steadied the ship for Australia can made sure that they did not get bogged down. When Ellyse Perry went, there was still hope for the West Indies. But what was crucial for them was taking wickets consistently. Beth Mooney and Rachael Haynes did not let that happen at all. They too brought up an unbeaten 50-run partnership and took their team home.

Rachael Haynes was excellent with the bat, scoring runs quickly and ensuring that the West Indies did not dominate the batting. She put away loose balls on most occasions and was highly proactive against spin. Her rotation of strike always kept the scoreboard ticking over. She got good support from Beth Mooney to take Australia over the finish line.

For the West Indies, Hayley Matthews was brilliant with both ball and in the field, taking a wicket and three good catches. Shamilia Connell, Chinelel Henry and Karishma Ramharack also bowled well but without a lot of wicket-taking luck. The fielding was great at times, and slightly average at other times but the overall fight from the team was spirited. The West Indies now have two wins and two losses from their four games with three matches to play. They are currently fifth in the table.

Ellyse Perry was adjudged player of the match for the fifth time in World Cups for her fantastic bowling display, and a good batting effort to calm the nerves when the going got a little bit tough. Australia have now registered their fourth straight win and are almost through to the semi-finals. But they have India coming up next, which will be an exciting encounter in Auckland.

Australia Women captain, Meg Lanning: Playing here seems to give us advantage. We have great depth in our squad. Taking early wickets was key. With the ball, the West Indies are different, they open with spin as opposed to other sides, but we managed things well. We would have liked not to have lost early wickets, but still, I'll give our performance a seven out of ten. It wll be a challenge playing India in Auckland, so we will look forward to that.

West Indies Women captain, Stafanie Taylor: It was not the best batting display for sure, we take a lot of pride in our batting. We did not assess the conditions better and lost too many early wickets. 130 is way below par but the bowling group did really well to peg the Australians back. We still have three more games to go, so it will be all about regrouping. I was happy to get some runs under my belt.

Ellyse Perry (Player of the Match): (On her consistent form against West Indies) I haven't thought about it but really nice conditions out there today. The wind and the slope are nice factors here. It was really cool to put that bowling performance as a group. The whole way throughout our bowling innings we were very effective. (On what she was working on with bowling coach Ben Sawyer) Just some consistency really about my shape especially with the new ball and some variations throughout that innings. The more I bowl the better I feel in terms of rhythm. It's nice that Ben puts up with me. I drag him out a lot more than what he's paid to do but it's nice fun (grins). I love training I think but the more I bowl the better rhythm I tend to have. Sometimes playing a lot of Test matches has really helped in bowling a lot of overs. (On the conditions in Wellington) We've spoken about it as a group - different conditions from the last game we played to today, with the breeze and it was a bit wet this morning. It's a great ground and there are a lot of challenges. I thought with the bat that innings from Racho was brilliant today and it was very important for us.

30.2 Stafanie Taylor to Rachael Haynes, THERE YOU GO! DONE AND DUSTED! Fittingly, it is Haynes who seals the chase with the winning runs as she dances down the track to take this flighted delivery on off on the full. She heaves it over mid-wicket before it rolls into the deep to wrap up the contest. Another resounding victory for the Aussies who continues to call the shots in this World Cup. Australia beat West Indies by 7 wickets with 118 deliveries to spare! That's now four out of four for them in the tournament!
