So, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Pratyush Rohra. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda's coverage of lot more cricket matches
Mahmudullah: I think the bowlers did a great job once again, keeping them to a low total. It was a good total to chase. Credit to all the bowlers, especially Nasum and Mustafizur. The batters tried their heart out, just needed a good partnership in the middle, me and Naim did that. Afif also got himself in. The plan was to just work in small partnerships and take it deep. Credit to the team management and the boys. The hunger was there to win the game and seal the series today. One more opportunity to win a game for Bangladesh, work on areas to improve and perform better.
Nasum Ahmed: It feels great to win the series and I feel really happy. My skipper told me to back my strengths, dry the runs and that's what I did. There was turn in the pitch, so I didn't worry about variations, just stuck to the basics.
Nasum Ahmed has been named as the 'Man of the Match' for his outstanding spell of 4-0-10-4
Tom Latham: We were probably a bit under-par. We were looking at around the 110 mark but ended up a bit light. Credit to how Bangladesh batted. We got early wickets but they had it under control. We spoke that if we bowled well, it could be a competitive score. They had a couple of partnerships and Mahmudullah finished it off for them. Getting it to the last over is a positive. Young played a good innings. He stuck out there and managed to get us to a competitive score but it wasn't quite enough. We are a young group, not a lot of international cricket experience and not a lot of us have been here before. Good to take the learnings forward.
And yes, Mahmudullah finishes things off in style!! A slog-sweep towards mid-wicket to wrap up a six-wicket victory and also a series win. Bangladesh have won series against Australia and New Zealand consecutively here. Although the hosts were only chasing 97 for victory, it was never going to be an easy task as the pitch provided a lot of support to the spinners. Liton Das looked to be positive and struck a boundary off Cole McConchie in the third over but he got out off the very next delivery.

Opener Mohammad Naim Sheikh stitched a small partnership with Shakib Al Hasan but the latter was stumped off Ajaz Patel's bowling in the 5th over. Just a couple of deliveries later, Ajaz bowled a beauty to get rid of Mushfiqur Rahim for a duck. It was at this point that the Bangladesh skipper Mahmudullah came in and stabilised the situation with young Naim for company. The duo set about rotating the strike and avoided undue risks especially against Ajaz and Rachin Ravindra. Although, Cole McConchie did get a wicket, he had an off-day and conceded as many as 30 runs off his first three overs. Naim got run-out in the 15th over with 27 runs still to be achieved but Mahmudullah stayed calm and finished the job along with Afif Hossain.
20.0
19.1 Cole McConchie to Mahmudullah, FOUR! MAHMUDULLAH FINISHES IT OFF IN STYLE AND SEALS A HISTORIC SERIES WIN FOR HIS SIDE! Tossed up outside off-stump, Mahmudullah gets down on one knee and cracks a sweep in the gap at cow corner to take his side over the line. A captain's knock from him! Bangladesh win by 6 wickets and take an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series.
Just two runs to be achieved off the last over. The BCB Chairman Nazmul Hassan is in the stands. He will be delighted to see Bangladesh wrap up the series win

18.6 Blair Tickner to Mahmudullah, fullish delivery on the stump-to-stump line, Mahmudullah steps out and bunts this down to long-on for a single
18.5 Blair Tickner to Afif Hossain, back of a length delivery angling into Hossain, stepped out and managed to work it away for a single behind square
UFF!! Nasty delivery from Blair Tickner and Afif Hossain just took his eye off the ball
18.4 Blair Tickner to Afif Hossain, OUCH!! Hit the deck hard with a cracking bouncer angling into Hossain, rised on his quicker than he was expecting and clatters into the grill of the helmet. Nasty bouncer! The mandatory concussion protocols will take place. Afif seems alright though!
18.3 Blair Tickner to Mahmudullah, back of a length delivery outside off-stump, Mahmudullah slices this one towards third man for a single
18.2 Blair Tickner to Mahmudullah, good length slower delivery outside off-stump, Mahmudullah can't reach out for that one as he barely reaches the keeper
18.1 Blair Tickner to Mahmudullah, SIX! MAHMUDULLAH DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST! It was right in his slot outside off, Mahmudullah just moves across and launches this one over mid-wicket for a maximum! That'll surely do it for his side. Just one hit away now!
Eight runs off the over bowled by Hamish Bennett. Mahmudullah continues to shoulder the responsibility with a touch of class. Bangladesh need 11 runs off 12 balls now
