Guyana Amazon Warriors comfortably beat Barbados Tridents in a low scoring encounter !
Starting off the chase, Warriors were struck with two mighty blows after what seemed to be a slow and steady start. The spinners struck twice in the first 7 overs as Hetmyer and Sinclair depart cheaply. Brandon King held one end and dealt in singles while Nicholas Pooran came in and took his time by not trying to go big. Although Pooran never going, he stood there defending and rotating the strike but Brandon King was in the groove, apart from putting away the bad balls, he rotated the strike really well and never let pressure reach Pooran. He held his nerve throughout the game as he struck four boundaries and two sixes to get to a well deserved fifty off 48 deliveries. He stitched together a partnership of 58 runs off 60 deliveries to seal the game off for Guyana Amazon Warriors who still hold their third position in the points table with 4 wins out of 8 games that they have played.

Barbados Tridents on the other hand are second last in the points table. Although, they have the ability to bowl well, they could not get the batsmen to make mistakes because the opposition was required to chase a very little total. It was a total failure with the bat which cost the game for the Barbados Tridents.

Naveen Ul Haq is the Man Of The Match for his spell of 4 overs 14 runs and 4 crucial wickets. In the pitch which assisted the spinners, Naveen shined and pushed Barbados Tridents onto the back foot and did not let them score.

The clinical performance with the bat and responsible batting clubbed with sensational fielding won the game for GUYANA AMAZON WARRIORS.

That is it from us here at Sportskeeda, Ladies and Gentlemen. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this low scoring game. Do join us for the games later today. Till then, this is Manoj Sarma and my colleague  Prashanth Satish signing off. Stay Safe.
