Brno 100/3 (8.4) beat Prague Barbarians 97/5 (10) by 7 wickets
Vyshakh Jagannivasan 42(21) | Shayan Khan 1-12(2) Rahat Ali 44*(23) | Robin Thakral 2-18(2)
A dominant performance from Brno and they race away to their first win of the season. It has been a superb performance of batting from them. Brno did not get off to the best of starts, losing a couple of wickets on the trot straightaway. With both opener back in the hut, it was upto the middle order to do the job.
Satyajit Sengupta and Rahat Ali joined hands to put up a terrific 67-run partnership in quick time too which set up the win for them beautiful. In the end, it was Rahat who stayed unbeaten as Brno cruised to quite a comfortable win. This will certainly do their confidence a world of good!
8.5 Kunal Mohite to Riaz Afridi, FIVE WIDES! Sprayed down the leg side and the keeper cannot stop that as the ball races away to the boundary rope!
8.4 Kunal Mohite to Rahat Ali, full and on the middle stump line, Rahat works it off his pads through the square leg region for a single.
8.3 Kunal Mohite to Rahat Ali, full and outside off, Rahat shuffles across and looks to drive it away but the ball goes past the outside edge.
8.2 Kunal Mohite to Riaz Afridi, length ball outside off, Riaz slaps it straight back down the ground. Past the bowler and some good fielder at long on keeps it down to a single.
8.1 Kunal Mohite to Riaz Afridi, FOUR! SHOT! Length ball outside off, Afridi shuffles across and slashes it over the backward point region to collect four valuable runs!
