The wind did affect the last game of the day today, but hopefully it does not play spoil sport tomorrow, as ECS continues in Prague with 4 more exciting games lined up tomorrow. So do join us for them, and find out how the league unfolds. Brno Raiders will need a win tomorrow to stay in contention of the qualification. An action packed day awaits us tomorrow, and we cannot wait to bring you all the live action! For now, I have been Ankit Sharma along with Maanas Upadhyay, taking your leave! Stay safe and take care!
Prague CC Kings meanwhile have had a terrific start to the season, with 4 wins on the trot, and pretty dominant performances. They will want to keep this momentum and capitalize on the lead atop the table. In this group they do seem the team to beat.
The Raiders were already in a difficult position with an under par batting performance and the bowlers came into bowl with not a lot on the board to negotiate with. Despite that, the bowlers did a decent job, bowling a few tight overs, and picking up three wickets to keep the opposition in check. Had they not done the same, the game would have been over earlier. Brno Raiders have started on a negative note, losing both their games today, but will eyeing for a comeback tomorrow to pick up their first point of the league.
Prague CC Kings, as expected have come out on top, pretty comfortably. The opening pair of Ahmad and Ashokan set the tone for the game, and started off well, batting to the required rate. Started with 5 runs an over, then took it up a notch before Ashokan was dismissed in the fifth over with already halfway to the target. Wickramasekara or also known as "The Beast" walked in, to continue the easy run of play for his team. Most of the runs were picked up in singles, as Hilal Ahmad played a smart innings of being the second fiddle, and scoring in the shadows of his partners. Both were well set and should have seen the game through, but both fell just short of the winning shot, and it was Sadasivan who wrapped the game up with a boundary on the first ball.
Hilal Ahmad has to walk back as well, after playing it straight into the hands of deep square leg. A ball that was easy enough to be put away, which Ahmad did by picking up the right shot, but fell just short of the boundary. Sadasivan has got no time to waste and wraps up the game with his first delivery itself, dispatching it for a boundary.
8.2 Naveen Joseph to Prakash Sadasivan, FOUR! SHOT! Dishes out a juicy full toss on the off stump, Sadasivan holds his ground and heaves that away through the mid-wicket region as he collects a boundary to finish off the match! That will wrap up proceedings as the Prague CC Knights clinically beat the Brno Raiders by 7 wickets!
Prakash Sadasivan, right hand bat, walks to the middle.
8.1 Naveen Joseph to Hilal Ahmad, OUT! CAUGHT! Length ball outside off, sits up nicely for Ahmad, who goes for the pull shot. Does not get it off the middle of the bat and ends up playing that straight down the throat of the fielder at deep square leg!
8.1 Naveen Joseph to Hilal Ahmad, length ball sprayed well down the leg side. WIDE ball
Naveen Joseph, into the attack.
Looks like Wickramasekara won't be able to see the game through. He's been dismissed of a very good ball, and will have to walk back. Ahmad still there, who will surely stay out there till the end. Almost there now, just a boundary required to win now. Raiders have accepted their fate, and rightly so after an ordinary first innings.
Over: 8 | Summary: 1 4 W 0 1 1 Bowler: Suresh Ramaro Score: 57/2
7.6 Suresh Ramarao to Hilal Ahmad, length ball on the middle stump swinging in, the batsman tucks that towards deep square leg for a single

7.4 Suresh Ramarao to Kushal Mendon, full and outside off, Mendon looks to drive it but the ball sneaks in from under the bat
Kushal Mendon, right hand bat, comes to the crease.
7.3 Suresh Ramarao to Sudesh Wickramasekara, OUT! CAUGHT! Nails the yorker on the middle stump, a slower delivery as well. The batsman looks to hoick it away but is early into the shot as he is undone by the change of pace. The ball crashes into the stumps and Wickramasekara has to depart!
7.2 Suresh Ramarao to Sudesh Wickramasekara, FOUR! SHOT! Full ball on the middle stump angling in, the batsman goes for the wild heave across the line. Gets the inside edge that runs away to the mid-wicket fence as the fielder puts in a dive but is unable to stop that
7.1 Suresh Ramarao to Hilal Ahmad, length ball on the off stump, Ahmad hangs back and pushes it to the right of the fielder at cover for a single
Decent over for the Kings, who are cruising to victory. No scares, no hurdles, no problems for them at all. 8 from the over and that brings up the 50 on board for the Kings. Just 11 runs needed from 18 balls. Will the Kings hurry it up or will they take their own time?
