That's it from me, Rajarshi, as I and Pradeep conclude our coverage of what has been a phenomenal match. The two teams are about to face off for the second time today. What a match! What an epic comeback from United CC! They have toppled the Bucharest Gladiators in some fashion in the points table for the time being, and look at those celebrations! United by name, United in crisis situations, United in celebrations! No one would have given a chance throughout the first innings and the first over of the chase to pull through, but they sure did, with some excellent swing bowling, and then some tremendous fielding efforts! The catches that were taken on the boundary were fitting of a best catches montage, they were that good!
Muhammad Moiz led the charge for the Gladiators with the bat as well, helping take 14 off the first over to set the tone for the chase, a meagre one of 82. But, the fall of in-form Muhammad Mashal, followed by Manmeet Koli gave UCC a sniff back in the game. Moiz continued to go after the bowling, but all hell broke loose after he got out to what might end up being the best catch in this competition, a spectacular take by Rajesh Kumar at long-on. Wickets kept falling at regular intervals, some to the credit of the fielding team, and the others were down to the Gladiators batsmen being at panic stations. In the end, United's perseverance saw them succeed in achieving the improbable; defending a total of 81 against an in-form Bucharest Gladiators batting line-up.
