That's about it from our end! Stay tuned for more action on Sportskeeda. Catch the highlights when you can. If you've had a mediocre day so far, even better.
Bravo was the pick of the bowlers not only because of the figures, but the pace he bowled at. Shardul produced one beauty to send Dhawan back but before and after that it was an almighty belting. It's never a good feeling to lose after posting 189. It's never a bad feeling to chase it down with ease. Shaw and Dhawan produced shots befitting of cricketing gods. Timing was just exquisite and obscenely consistent. CSK can simply doff their hats along with the rest of us and move on, quickly.
Prithvi Shaw says the wicket was quite good. Before heading into the Vijay Hazare games, he made a few tweaks with Pravin Amre which has come together nicely. In fact the technical changes started in Australia itself.
MS Dhoni believes the dew played a factor. He's happy with the batting effort considering the first 40 mins was a bit sticky and tacky for batting. Too many boundary balls from the bowlers in the second dig, hopefully they've learnt from it. 200 might be the par score in coming days on this surface but he can't stress enough about how the first 40 mins plays differently.
That's a comprehensive win for DC. Chasing nearly 190 made into a breezy exercise in the end! It's not just how quick they've got there, it's how they got there in the first place. It was an innings of purity. Just unadulterated striking ball after ball after ball. We can pick many a gap in the CSK bowling effort but not much could be done in the face of that juggernaut.
18.4 Shardul Thakur to Rishabh Pant, FOUR! PANT FINISHES IT OFF IN STYLE! In the slot on middle and leg stump and Pant helps himself! He gets onto the front foot and clobbers that one past long on for a boundary to cut short CSK's misery! Professional from the Capitals though!
18.3 Shardul Thakur to Marcus Stoinis, OUT! TWO FOR THAKUR! Banged into the track outside off stump. Stoinis gets onto the back foot and looks to finish things off with a flourish. However, the ball gets a little too big on him, meaning that he splices it towards deep mid wicket, where Curran runs in from the fence and gobbles up the chance!
18.2 Shardul Thakur to Marcus Stoinis, knuckle ball that ends up as a thigh height full toss. The ball dips just in time as Stoinis, in rather surprised fashion, pats it back to the bowler
18.1 Shardul Thakur to Marcus Stoinis, FOUR! WRETCHED FROM SHARDUL! Full delivery down the leg side and Stoinis just gets onto the front foot and tickles the ball past long leg for four
Stoinis drilling them harder than a carpenter on a tight deadline. 7 from 12. The next over should see a DC win. If not, then the next. But next over based on the mood of this innings.

17.1 Dwayne Bravo to Rishabh Pant, full delivery outside off stump. Pant throws the kitchen sink at it and flays that one via the outer half of the bat towards deep backward point for a single
Total mixed bag from Brisbane legend Shardul Thakur. Some poor deliveries and some terrific ones! 17 from 18 now.
