And that's it from us folks, CSK finish with a win and will now face SRH at the Wankhede Stadium on Tuesday. Join us again for that.
Man of the Match, Lungi Ngidi: " A very good day out. Really didn't expect it to go that well but I'll take it. Didn't expect [this track]. Usually they say the subcontinent is slow and low but after seeing Chahar, I was grinning. It's a team that really values family values and it's been warm. Being with MS Dhoni, just a cricketing mind, it's been a great help."
MS Dhoni: "If you see the bowling line up it was swinging a bit. In a game like this you want to take a lot of wickets while it is swinging. So with Bhajji and Chahar going in - it creates a bit of chaos.

"With proper batsmen the bowlers are consistent, somehow to lower order players they try the bouncers, off-cutters, etc. [About the finish] All the fielders were up so I went for the big shot.

"[About the franchise] we have a set of people who are very close to the players, that makes it very easy for the captain. Also we have a really good team. Right from the first edition, we kept adding players and they kept performing - Ashwin, Bollinger, Mohit.

"The big challenge will be in two years when most of the players won't be around. We like to do the process right because that's what gives you the result.

"I remember the finals, where it went wrong: you need to remember where it went wrong. On that particular day you have to be at the best because everyone wants to win. All of those things matter."
Deepak Chahar: "I got my opportunity today after a long time. I have been waiting for my chances. From the first match I have liked bowling here. There is a bit of breeze blowing across. Today also it was a moving a bit in the initial stage. It is good for the confidence; getting an opportunity to bat. Now if I get a chance to bat in the playoffs I will do good for the team.

"I was a swing bowler basically, but have worked on my pace for the last six years. We have been waiting for this opportunity for two years and looking forward to the playoffs. He (Watson) was rested. If KKR would have lost yesterday, even I would be rested today."
R Ashwin: "Tough days at the office. We didn't bat very well. Lost three wickets in the powerplay and from there it was going to be catch-up. Karun got us a good score but it was always 20-30 runs below par. We put down a catch. It never came together in the latter half of the tournament. We had a decent April but a horrible May.

"We had Ankit who swung it around in this conditions. Should've latched onto the catch, but that happens in cricket. Even in the first half we were playing in Mohali. KL and Gayle were making most of the runs but the middle-order didn't click at all which was expected, which hurt us in the latter half of the tournament. Ankit did really well, and of course KL was amazing.

"We have the purple cap holder in Tye as well. So loads of positives but we haven't applied ourselves. We haven't commanded any respect at all in terms of getting results on our own terms. The game against RCB costed a lot, not only in terms of run-rate but especially in terms of morale.

"We were not really there in terms of performance on such a day, but CSK were better today. A good team culture will help us win tournaments in the future, so I'd like to build that culture slowly in this new-look franchise and we'll look to do much better next time."
So finally, after the last round-robin stage game we have the four teams who have qualified for the playoffs. SRH, CSK, KKR and RR have made it through.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings will face off in the qualifier while the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals will lock horns in the eliminator.
KXIP, who needed to restrict CSK to just 100 in the 20 overs had a fairytale start in the form of Ankit Rajpoot and Mohit Sharma, who bowled extremely well in tandem to pick three early wickets and add pressure on CSK.

However, a swinging inning from Harbhajan followed by a cameo from Deepak Chahar took CSK closer which then laid the platform for a finish from Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni.
Chennai Super Kings register an easy 5-wicket victory scripted by a fiery bowling spell from Lungi Ngidi, who picked 4 wickets for just 10 runs from his 4 overs and then a half-century from Suresh Raina, who stroked a mature 48-ball 61 laced with two sixes and four fours to take CSK home in style.
19.1 Mohit to Dhoni, SIX, Mohit goes for a bouncer but Dhoni gets a sixer with a pull shot and CSK beat KXIP by five wickets. What a way to finish it and they turn things around after a tricky start. They finish the IPL 2018 group stage with a win, just like how they started it.
22 off the over and Raina decides to defend the final ball! Probably wants the skipper to finish off the final home game!
Over 19 CSK: 153/5(RR 8.05) Bowler: A Tye Sum..: 6 2 6 4 4 .
18.6 Tye to Raina, no run, Raina plays a dot ball with a forward defense and gives Dhoni the opportunity to hit the winning runs. That was a nice touch from the southpaw.
6, 2, 6, 4, 4 from the five balls so far. Now CSK needs just 1 run to win!
18.5 Tye to Raina, FOUR, a bouncer and Raina brings CSK within a single off victory. Raina swivels and just beats short fine leg.
18.4 Tye to Raina, FOUR, Raina goes for a lofted cover drive and the fielder at deep cover goes running for a running catch but he misses the ball and that goes away for the boundary.
18.3 Tye to Raina, SIX, that sounded funny but Raina brings up his FIFTY. He just creams that over long on and out of nowhere, CSK are looking like they want to win this. Andrew Tye continues to have a horror outing and Raina looks to want to finish this off in a hurry.
18.2 Tye to Raina, 2 runs, in the slot again but Raina doesn't get all of it and all he can do is get an inside edge between long on and deep mid-wicket.
18.1 Tye to Raina, SIX, Raina gets a length ball and almost like he has woken up from his slumber, he calmly clobbers that for six over mid-wicket.
11 runs from the previous over and Dhoni has come to the party. CSK now need 23 from the last 12 balls. Tye to bowl the penultimate over.
Over 18 CSK: 131/5(RR 7.28) Bowler: M Sharma Sum..: 1 wd 2 1 1 1 4
17.6 Mohit to Dhoni, FOUR, back of length ball in the slot and Dhoni just muscles that to deep mid-wicket for a much-needed boundary and with that boundary, MS Dhoni now has 4000 runs in the IPL! What a player!
17.5 Mohit to Raina, 1 run, no luck in Mohit Sharma's favour today. Raina goes for another slog but doesn't get all of it and that just bounces short of deep mid-wicket who comes running in but takes it on the bounce.
Jadeja seems to be having a fun yet animated discussion with Stephen Fleming. And why not? With a spot in the top two, they can even stretch their legs and play a game of Snakes 'N' Ladders in the dugout.
17.4 Mohit to Dhoni, 1 run, excellent yorker from Mohit and Dhoni just digs that out to mid-off.
17.3 Mohit to Raina, 1 run, Raina goes for another big one but gets an inside edge to the keeper and they take a single.
17.2 Mohit to Raina, 2 runs, Raina goes for a wild slog but gets a top edge and Rajpoot does well to stop that from going for a boundary on the bounce. They scamper through for two.
17.2 Mohit to Raina, WIDE, that was too high and he will have to bowl that again.
17.1 Mohit to Dhoni, 1 run, that was back on pads and Dhoni just punches that down to long on.
Mohit Sharma is back into the attack.
Six runs off that over and now CSK need 34 from the last 3 overs. With Dhoni and Raina and the crease, one can expect CSK to scale the target with ease. Or does Ashwin have something up his sleeve?
