And that's it from us. CSK make it two thrillers out of two. Join us again tomorrow as Delhi and Rajasthan both look to get off the mark in IPL 2018.
Sam Billings, Man of the Match: It was an absolute pressure to play in a team of legends. That is the great thing about the IPL. You have the opportunity to learn from Hussey; the batting coach as well. You know your options in your head, plan A, plan B and plan C, but you need to believe in yourself and execute. Thankfully it was my day and it was a lot of fun. We showed in the first game with Bravo, in T20 cricket, you need to take it deep. We have lots of power in our batting line-up and we know as a team any target can be breached.
MS Dhoni: It feels good to come back after two years and win the first game. I think it was a fantastic game. They deserved every bit of it; the first innings and the second innings. Everyone has their emotions and we tell everybody to keep it under control. We need to have the faith in the batsman who is batting or the bowler who is bowling. At the end of the day, there is one man to bat that particular delivery and bowl that particular over. Lot of positive energy helps. It does. At times you feel disappointed, but that's why the dressing room is there to express yourself and not in the dugout. We all feel the same. If we are too expresseive, the commentators get a lot to talk about. Yes. But every game one player is getting injured. By that calculation we will not have 14 players at the end of the league other than that it is good to see Sam bat the way he did. Somehow still feel that KKR scored more than us because with all those sixes. IPL should add two more runs for sixes hit out of the ground. Bowlers had a rough dayfrom both the sides, but overall it was a good day for the crowd over here.
Shane Watson, purple cap holder: It was a really nice wicket. The ball was coming nicely onto the bat. Chasing 202, we needed to get off to a flier, to make things easier for the rest of the batting. We have had a sea of supporters - even during practice sessions, it's very special. It was do-or-die (regarding the strategy for the chase), we had to get a feel of the wicket and then had to go and play our shots. If it was your day, it would go over the fence, it turned up well for us today. The game is evolving and getting better, it feels great for me at this stage of my career to play for such a great franchise and in front of the cricket loving people of India.
Dinesh Karthik: CSK is coming back after two years and we were expecting that (support). Hats off to them. Hats of to Andre. He put is in a great position. These things happen in T20 cricket. We need to move forward. In T20s, we need to take the positives. In the next games, we shouldn't repeat the same mistakes. We are playing SRH at home. Two good teams and I'm looking forward to it.
Needing more than 200 runs to complete their first win at the Chepauk since 2015, the Chennai Super Kings got off to a flier, courtesy the pyrotechnics of Ambati Rayudu and Shane Watson.

MS Dhoni, who promoted himself to No.4, will receive some flak for the manner in which he approached the chase, and although his innings had a few lusty blows in the middle, the slow knock sent the run-rate soaring high.

Sam Billings, however, was in no mood to relent, and churned out some of the most outrageous of strokes, including a paddle-sweep that flew over the fine leg boundary. His dismissal in the penultimate over, however, turned out to be the anticlimax CSK wouldn’t have wanted.

With 17 runs needed off the last over, the fans of the Super Kings would have put their money on Dwayne Bravo, hero of the last game, to somehow take them over the line.

He hoicked the first ball for a six, and got the equation down to 4 off 2, before Ravindra Jadeja swung the bat with all his might to send the ball sailing into the stands, and seal another thriller for CSK.
CSK has won the match by 5 wickets, it was for KKR to lose and they lost it
19.5 Vinay Kumar to Jadeja, SIX, Jadeja launches that into the Members stands and has won it for CSK. Ravindra Jadeja has done it after all the flak, he smoked the final ball and sealed the deal. Vinay Kumar, oh dear... not good enough from the veteran, not good at all!
19.4 Vinay Kumar to Bravo, 1 run, that was well outside off and Bravo somehow drags that to long on.
19.3 Vinay Kumar to Jadeja, 1 run, that was another length ball but Jadeja calmly places it to the fielder at point.
19.3 Vinay Kumar to Jadeja, WIDE, this is pressure, this is just pressure, he gets it wrong again
19.2 Vinay Kumar to Bravo, 1 run, that was an easy two but Jadeja doesn't take the two and Bravo was almost run-out.
19.1 Vinay Kumar to Bravo, 2 runs, that was a catch at long on but that was a free-hit. The fielder doesn't realise that and they run two.
19.1 Vinay Kumar to Bravo, SIX, NO BALL,  that was a full toss on the pads. Bravo sends that into the stands. Pathetic, pathetic from Vinay Kumar, it was a FREEHIT, it was a NO BALL
It will be Vinay Kumar, he has 16 runs in the bank, wow this is some match, some homecoming for CSK!
17 needed now. Vinay or Kuldeep?
Over 19 CSK: 186/5(RR 9.79) Bowler: T Curran Sum..: 1 1 6 W 1 1
18.6 Curran to Bravo, 1 run, yorker on the pads and Bravo takes a single to retain strike. They really needed a boundary off that ball. The game looks beyond them even with the hero of the last match at the crease.
18.5 Curran to Jadeja, 1 run, that was a ball that should have hit for a boundary but Jadeja has no timing.
18.4 Curran to Billings, OUT, that was in the slot but Billings can only finds the fielder at long off. Brilliant knock but Billings can't get them over the line. Full ball, Billings could not get the leverage and he finds Long off, but that has been one astounding innings from Billings
18.3 Curran to Billings, SIX, that was in the slot and Billings has swept that over square leg.  Blinder from Billings, and he is in the groove!
18.2 Curran to Jadeja, 1 run, angled across and that is deftly touched to short third man for a single.
18.1 Curran to Billings, 1 run, FIFTY for Billings. He drags from outside off to fine leg.
27 runs from two overs needed!
Over 18 CSK: 176/4(RR 9.78) Bowler: A Russell Sum..: 1 1 6 6 1 .
17.6 Russell to Jadeja, no run, that was full and outside off but Jadeja misses that completely.
17.5 Russell to Billings, 1 run, short ball and Billings pulls that to deep square leg for a single.
17.4 Russell to Billings, SIX, this time he goes down the ground, straight back over the bowler's head. This is some serious batting, he backs away and lofts this length ball over the bowler. Insane from the man from Kent
17.3 Russell to Billings, SIX, that was a scoop for a six with the fine leg back on the boundary. Wow, that was spunky, that was crafty, that was effective. Billings be the man
17.2 Russell to Jadeja, 1 run, short and on the ribs, Jadeja swivels that and pulls that to fine leg.
