That's all we've got for you from this match but do stay tuned to Sportskeeda as one more match for the day is coming up your way in a short while. Do catch up quickly for the next match as I, Sudheer and my partner, Bala are signing off for this match. Cheers and have fun!
Clove Challengers have pulled out a rabbit out of the hole as they won the match which looked like they were down and out couple of overs ago. Darron Nedd was the man who turned things around for the Challengers. He scored 50 runs from just 17 balls with the help of 3 fours and 5 sixes. Other batsmen didn't really made a mark with the bat as everyone struggled who came in before him. Nedd was the man standing in between the victory for the Generals and he just crashed their hopes with a mind blowing innings.

Ginger Generals had the control on the match for a very long period in the chase as they kept picking wickets and making the required rate tougher for the opponents. Two bowlers in particular, Edward Larry and Redhead Nicklaus, have created the pressure and picked two wickets each but that wasn't enough in the end for them to taste the 2nd victory of the tournament. Giving the last over to a new bowler, a spinner in this case, was also fraught with risk as Nedd was striking the ball well.

Challengers taste their first win while the Generals had a shocker of a loss in this match and makes both the teams at two points each on the points table.

9.6 Daniel McDonald to Deyna George, quick delivery on a length outside the off-stump, cuts it through the gap behind point. And they have come back from nowhere to win this match
9.5 Daniel McDonald to Darron Nedd, hits the length ball on the up to long-on. Can't get more than a single. That's the FIFTY for Nedd, off just 17 deliveries Scores are level now. Just a single required to win off the final delivery. Deyna George, who is yet to face a ball, will be on strike
9.4 Daniel McDonald to Darron Nedd, SIX! Nedd has almost done it here. Just two more to win and one more to level the scores. Length ball outside the off-stump, stand and deliver from Nedd. Slaps it nonchalantly over long-off for yet another maximum
9.3 Daniel McDonald to Darron Nedd, FOUR! Make it 14 off the first three deliveries. Oh my! Quick and flat on a length, Nedd opens up his stance and slaps it over the extra cover region, one bounce into the fence. Just 8 runs required off 3 balls now
9.2 Daniel McDonald to Darron Nedd, FOUR! Ten runs off the first two deliveries. Fuller ball outside off, swings hard and gets a thick outside edge over short thridman. The fielder makes a mess of it at the boundary and allows the ball to reach the fence
9.1 Daniel McDonald to Darron Nedd, SIX! Perfect start to the over. McDonald drags this one down. Nedd is onto the back foot in a flash and pulls it over the square leg boundary
D McDonald to bowl the final over of the innings.

Final over coming up and can the Challengers chase the total down carrying the momentum they got from the last two overs.

8.6 Fraser Michael to Bronson Johnson, good length delivery angling across the left-hander, heaves across the line and misses. Which means Nedd will be on strike for the final over
8.5 Fraser Michael to Darron Nedd, slower ball on a length wide of off, toe ends the heave to long-off for a single
8.4 Fraser Michael to Darron Nedd, SIX! Nedd is providing some hope for his side. Knee-high full toss on the leg-stump, just picks it up nonchalantly over the cow corner fence for another maximum
8.3 Fraser Michael to Darron Nedd, dropped! Comedy of errors. Full ball on the stumps. Nedd backs away trying to go inside out. Gets a leading edge over short thirdman in the end. The fielder circles under the ball but ends up not even getting his hands on it
8.2 Fraser Michael to Darron Nedd, SIX! Slower ball but right in the slot. Nedd gets down to find some elevation and despatches it over the long-on fence. Nedd is turning it on here
8.1 Fraser Michael to Bronson Johnson, length ball outside the off-stump, tries to drag it across the line but gets an inside edge to mid-wicket
Michael Fraser to continue.

16 runs from the over and now the Challengers need 37 required off 12 balls. Challengers can still chase this down if they can find some boundaries regularly.
