Commentary

Right then, quite comfortable for the Gladiators in the end as they wrapped this game up with eight wickets to spare. They were not chasing a lot and they showed some good skills in the way they paced that chase. Sensible batting and taking minimal risks, they went on to get the job done. Comprehensive in the end with Muhammad Mashal leading the charge and Mashal providing him with good support as well.

Cluj did not have enough runs to play with. They needed to pick wickets which they failed to do as well. They did get the early breakthrough but could not create much of an impact after that. Cluj were short on runs and they will have to bounce back strong in the next game, for they will have to go through the hard way to get into that final otherwise.

Beating the reigning champions in this fashion will boost the confidence of Gladiators and they have looked pretty good this tournament so far with both bat and ball. This has been a good all-round game for them and they will now look to complete the double over Cluj as these two teams meet again shortly!

Well, one delivery was all it took for Gladiators to finish this off then. Done and dusted in style and this has been a brilliant win for them with eight wickets to spare. Excellent partnership some good batting on display!
