Jaffna Kings won by 23 runs.
Player of the match: Avishka Fernando
Right then. For the second year running, the Gladiators and the Kings are going to battle it out for the crown. The Gladiators have won all three times when the two sides have met this season but can they do it all again when it counts the most? They will be searching for revenge, won't they? That one promises to be a cracking contest in a couple of days' time. That's all we have for now though. This is the duo of Pradeep and Pratyush, bidding adieu. Goodnight!
Thisara Perera(Kings captain): I'm really happy today. We've set a good example for others and show them how to handle the pressure. After losing the first game, we were under pressure. Coming over that is the most important thing and we've done that really well as a unit. The final is just another match for me. The boys did a good job today but we have one more game to go.

Niroshan Dickwella(Giants captain): Not really. We backed ourselves to do well. Our bowling and fielding let us down. We have a good fielding side but today was a bad day at the office. The bowlers couldn't execute their plans either and at the end of the day, 211 was too much to chase down. 180-190, we would have had a shot. We've had some good days and some bad days. We've let ourselves down in crucial situations. That's something we'll have to work on. Lastly, I would like to thank the fans and the organizers for this tournament.
Avishka Fernando has been adjudged the Player of the Match for his maiden T20 hundred tonight!

says, I never had a T20 hundred and extremely pleased about the hundred tonight. I was a little disturbed getting out cheaply in the last game after the start I got against Amir, I'm satisfied with how things went tonight for me and my team!
Jaffna Kings won by 23 runs.

That kids, is what they call complete domination. The Giants have been slain by the Kings, who are heading into their second final in two years as they look to defend this crown. It was all set up by the 122-run opening stand between Gurbaz and Avishka, with the latter going on to record his first T20 century to allow the Kings to post a mammoth total on the board.

While the surface was a brilliant one to bat on, chasing 211 was always going to be a tall order for this Giants lineup. Apart from Chamika Karunaratne's blistering rearguard towards the end, there wasn't much that threatened the Kings' bowlers. Maheesh Theekshana worked his magic in the powerplay, alongside Suranga Lakmal, to have Dambulla tottering at 44-3 with their three main batters back in the hut and the script was pretty much written from thereon.

Apart from Chamika's spirited knock, there wasn't much joy around the Giants batting lineup. As far the Kings' bowling is concerned, Jayden Seales continued his impressive run with another three-wicket haul. Theekshana and Perera bagged a brace while Hasaranga and Lakmal had fairly quiet outings with a wicket each.

Quite a disappointing outing for the Giants, who lost all their three games against the Kings this season. Meanwhile, the Kings, who have lost their three games against the Gladiators so far, will be hoping that the fourth time is when their fortunes turn around when they meet in the finals.

Stick around for the presentations...
That will be that then. The Jaffna Kings will have a shot at defending their title as their enter back-to-back finals! It was a comprehensive performance all around and they have thoroughly outplayed their opponents tonight. Kings won by 23 runs.

19.6 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, FOUR! Ends the inning with a boundary but it doesn't matter it going to be the clash of Kings and Gladiators in the Finals! Drags the length short on the off-stump and Karunaratne on the backfoot thrashes it around covers where sweeper comes around to cut it off with some footwork, goes in vain and the Giants go down fighting in the end!
Nearly! Chaturanga could have actually taken the bails off but it was just a delayed reaction for him. Has another shy at it but it's too late till then. Chamika will get the final ball.
19.5 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, marginally short on the off-stump as Karunaratne on the off-stump as he rocks back and cuts it past the covers, they decide to come back for the second, de Silva didn't go to disturb the stumps, Pradeep would've been well short!
19.4 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, drags the length short on the off-stump as Karunaratne on the backfoot swats it down to long-on fielder for no run.
19.3 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, FOUR BYES! Length delivery on the leg-stump line as Karunaratne goes down his knee to slog sweep but misses and the keeper misses too as it runs down to fine-leg for a boundary!
19.2 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, FOUR MORE! Goes short again on the middle and off as Karunaratne on the backfoot hammers it towards cow corner region for yet another boundary!
19.1 Chaturanga de Silva to Chamika Karunaratne, FOUR! Karunaratne is going on for his shots, drops it short on the off-stump as Karunaratne on the backfoot thumps it over the extra-cover region for a boundary!
Chaturanga de Silva, left-arm orthodox, comes into the attack
Pradeep keeps it out on that occasion. Seales ends his excellent spell with figures of 24/3. Seven wides from him though, and that's something he will have to look out for in the final. Currently, he stands 4th in the list for most wickets this season (14).

18.6 Jayden Seales to Nuwan Pradeep, OH! Goes searching for the yorker but ends up being a low full toss that Pradeep negotiates by pushing it down to mid-on for no run.

18.5 Jayden Seales to Imran Tahir, OUT! CHIPS IT STRAIGHT TO MID-OFF AND TAKEN! Seals has his third, Tahir looking to clear the mid-off fielder as he launched into the full delivery but he barely gets the timing right and Malik running to his left takes a good catch! Seales has three!
