Delhi Bulls beat Northern Warriors by 8 wickets!

What a run-chase this has been from the Delhi Bulls. It was all about their openers Luke Wright and Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who put on a century stand to hand the Bulls yet another win in this T10 tournament. The Bulls were never behind the required rate with Gurbaz consistently dispatching the ball to and over the boundary. He had Luke Wright take over the scoring in the middle overs as well, who didn't disappoint despite not playing much cricket in the last few months.

Gurbaz was particularly tough on Little and Thomas, who proved to be no match for the Afghan, who scored his first fifty of his T10 career. However, he would have been disappointed that he couldn't finish the game off for the Bulls as he succumbed to Umair Ali. The Warriors looked like sneaking in with a chase by dragging the chase into the final over. However, it wasn't meant to be as the veteran Luke Wright saw them through to the finish line. In the end, the better batting side came out on top with credit going to Gurbaz and Wright. Not to mention, Fazal Haq Farooqi was also spot-on with his powerplay bowling skills with his spell also being a key differential factor in this game.

The Delhi Bulls now sit pretty with four wins in six games while the Warriors are down for the count with only two points to show for their efforts after six matches. However, the Warriors get their campaign back on the track tomorrow against the unbeaten Team Abu Dhabi while the Bulls rest for a day after which they will return to cricketing action. An exciting couple of days beckon in the Abu Dhabi T10 League. But that's it from this game and it has been an absolute pleasure in bringing you all the live action. Until next time, this is Dwijesh along with my colleague Bala signing off. Take Care and Good Bye!
9.5 Umair Ali to Eoin Morgan, SIX! Finishes off in style! No messing around from Morgan! Takes a couple of steps down the wicket. It is a slower one on a length. He takes it on and just manages to clear the fielder at long-on
9.4 Umair Ali to Luke Wright, low full toss on middle and leg. Drills it down to long-on for a single
9.3 Umair Ali to Eoin Morgan, slower ball short of a length around off. Morgan comes down the track but gets a bottom edge through to the keeper. Wright calls him through for a quick single as the ball rolls along
Sherfane Rutherford looks to be in some pain. He is lying down flat on his back with the physio assessing him as well. Remember, he did face some injury concerns earlier in this tournament as well. Would he be able to continue is the question here. He is coming off now with Rovman Powell and the physio John Gloster carrying him out with all three individuals having a laugh out there. Eoin Morgan is out in the middle now to replace Rutherford!
9.2 Umair Ali to Sherfane Rutherford, slower ball on a good length around off. Rutherford has a mighty heave and gets an inside edge that goes to the right of short fineleg. Good enough for a brace
9.1 Umair Ali to Sherfane Rutherford, full ball angling into the left-hander. Rutherford has a big swing across the line but makes no contact. Dot ball is like gold at this stage

8.6 Rayad Emrit to Sherfane Rutherford, full delivery around the off-stump. Pushes it to mid-off and gets off the mark with a single
8.5 Rayad Emrit to Sherfane Rutherford, shortish delivery wide of the off-stump. Rutherford throws his bat at it but gets beaten. Seems like Emrit has some advice for the young batter
Sherfane Rutherford, LHB, is the new batter!
8.4 Rayad Emrit to Luke Wright, short and wide outside off. Wright cuts it away to sweeper cover for one
8.3 Rayad Emrit to Romario Shepherd, OUT! Emrit gets his man! Full ball outside off. Shepherd goes at it with hard hands and gets an outside edge that carries to the fielder at sweeper cover
8.2 Rayad Emrit to Romario Shepherd, FOUR! Doesn't miss out this time! Full and wide from Emrit, but Shepherd has moved across, waiting for the delivery. Lofts it straight back and finds the long-off boundary
8.1 Rayad Emrit to Romario Shepherd, full ball outside off angling away. Shepherd has a swing at it but makes no contact
Rahmanullah Gurbaz finally departs after scoring a match-winning ffity. But it may have come a touch too late for the Warriors who are just a few boundaries away from a win. As previously mentioned, Thomas and Tahir do not have overs to bowl and at the moment, it is just a matter of time. Can the Warriors drag this game into the final over? Would be quite the achievement that

7.6 Umair Ali to Romario Shepherd, short of a good length angling in. Shepherd punches it to covers and takes one to get off the mark
7.5 Umair Ali to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, OUT! Finally, something goes the Warriors' way! Goes across the crease to attempt the scoop. It is a full delivery on the stumps from Ali. Beats the batter and rattles the stumps
7.4 Umair Ali to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, FOUR! Slower one yet again, but it is a bit too short. Gurbaz scythes it over covers and finds the boundary
