That ends our coverage of today's double-header day and match no.15 between DD and KXIP. Do join us for the live coverage of tomorrow's double-header night. Until then, it's goodbye and goodnight from us at Sportskeeda!
It's been a comprehensive 51-run victory for Delhi in their first game at home.
Right from when Zaheer Khan won the toss and opted to bat first, Delhi was always in the game with Sam Billings stroking his way to a marvellous half-century before Morris and Anderson blasted their way, smoking bowlers to all parts of the park to take DD to 188 in the final overs.

Once the KXIP batsmen trod out to chase the target, it seemed as if the batting line-up was powerful enough to chase the target. However, twin strikes from Shahbaz Nadeem in back-to-back overs denied Punjab a position of strength throughout the game and with Pat Cummins, Chris Morris and Corey Anderson combining fantastically to put a leash on the KXIP batsmen, the Maxwell-led side was forced to commit mistakes, mistakes that Delhi thrived on to clinch the contest comfortably in the end.
Corey Anderson is adjudged as the man of the match for his 22-ball 39 run unbeaten knock and spell of 3-0-23-1.

He says: " It was a kind of wicket which was tough to get going on. Sam and Sanju did a really good job to provide the platform. We thought 160 might have been a reasonable target during one of those time-outs. In the end, it was probably 20 runs over par than we had to get. A good overall performance.
"Zaheer set some really interesting fields. He's a very clever cricketer. We've got a class bowling side with Pat and Morris. It was a clinical performance from the bowlers and everyone did a great job. That's valuable (variety in bowling), being able to chop and change. Helps through that middle period. It's about finding the right guys to bowl at the right time".

Zaheer Khan says: " It's only just about doing the basics right. We got a decent start, not losing wickets in the first six. The wickets was on the slower side and we executed our plans well. On that wicket, it was important we gained momentum at the right time. Sanju and Billings provided a good start. We have good batters at the end, we have to provide a good foundation for them. "The pitch was very dry. Especially Nadeem, the way he bowled, was crucial. I was also trying to bowl just cutters.

"Just holding our nerves and executing our plans well. So far so good. Hope to keep it going in the tournament"

Glenn Maxwell, visibly disappointed after the loss says: "We were a bit behind with the bat there. Let them get 188 which was far too many on that wicket. We gave away probably 30 too many. There were too many boundary balls and we did not sustain the pressure.

"The wicket stayed slow and did not allow us to get going. The execution from the bowlers has to improve. They have good plans going into the game, but it is about executing them in pressure situations".

"Axar Patel continues to show he is a superstar in the game, his all-round prowess was brilliant and KC Cariappa had a good day, apart from that it was a dull night".

It's all done and dusted at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadium in Delhi. A perfect homecoming for the Delhi Daredevils, a comprehensive 51-run victory over the Kings XI Punjab courtesy of an all-round performance from the team.
19.6 Morris to Axar, OUT! A fitting finish to a rather dismal game for KXIP! Morris finishes it off in style, bowls Axar Patel with a slightly short slower one on the leg-stump that takes the bail along with it. Delhi Daredevils win by 51 runs!
19.5 Morris to Axar, no run, full ball on middle, squeezed towards long-on.
19.4 Morris to Sandeep, 1 run, low full toss on middle, leading edge takes the ball towards short cover.
19.3 Morris to Axar, 1 run, wide yorker outside off, Axar just about reaches it and hits it to mid-off.
19.2 Morris to Sandeep, 1 run, ful length ball, played towards midwicket.

19.1 Morris to Cariappa, OUT! Yorker on middle stump, Cariappa has no answer to it and loses his stumps.
Chris Morris will finish off with the final over.
134/7 after 19 overs. End of a fantastic spell from Cummins, 4-0-23-2.
18.6 Cummins to Cariappa, 1 run, full ball on off stump, played towards deep third man for a single.
Cariappa is the new man in
18.5 Cummins to Mohit, OUT! Pacy and straight at 145kph, the yorker is too good for Mohit,  flipped Mohit's pads and crashed into the stumps.
18.4 Cummins to Axar, 1 run, short ball on leg stump, guided towards short third man.
18.3 Cummins to Mohit, 1 run, full ball on middle stump, driven back down the ground towards long-off for a single.
18.2 Cummins to Mohit, no run, full one wide of off, Mohit fails to get his bat to it.
18.1 Cummins to Axar, 1 run, slower ball outside off, Axar guides that to short third man for a risky single. Had Samson hit the stumps at the striker's end, Mohit would have been out by a mile.
Pat Cummins will bowl his final over
130/6 after 18 overs. Axar Patel is essaying a good knock here but it's all a waiting game now for the Daredevils. 59 runs required off the last two overs.
17.6 Morris to Mohit, 2 runs, Mohit shimmies down the track, and looks to swap across, gets an inside edge and the ball deflects towards square leg.
17.5 Morris to Mohit, no run, inside edge, excellent glovework from Pant behind the stumps to save a boundary.
17.4 Morris to Axar, 1 run, short ball, Axar gets on his toes and dabs it onto the ground.
17.3 Morris to Axar, 2 runs, full length ball outside off, heaved over the cover region towards sweeper cover, Zaheer chases it and stops it, batsmen cross for a couple.
