Nottinghamshire beat Durham by 7 wickets Alex Hales 65(46) | Ollie Robinson 50(38) Steven Mullaney 3-28(4)|Ben Raine 2-15(4)
Another contest between these two sides and the result goes in favour of Notts Outlaws. We got used to this, isn't it? Well, Alex Hales led the chase as he went after the bowlers inside the powerplay. Once the field got spread, Hales didn't show any urgency as he played a sensible knock in the middle. He was in second gear but never shy to punish the loose deliveries
The partnership between Moores and Hales helped the Notts to have cruise control in the match but tensions start to build when the former got out. However, Afridi came up with a few lusty blows in the end to comfortably steer his side home with four balls remaining in the innings.
Alright! The men in Yellow crowned the champions of IPL 2023 in Ahmadabad but it's not meant to be a great day for the men in Yellow at Riverside. See you everyone with more cricketing updates tomorrow. Until next time, this is Pragadeesh signing off
19.2 Liam Trevaskis to Shaheen Afridi, SIX! AFRIDI SEALS IT IN SYLE! Fires it full around off-stump, Afridi gets underneath the ball to drill this straight down the ground for a maximum
19.1 Liam Trevaskis to Alex Hales, quicker and fuller around off-stump, driven down to long-off for a single
Can Trevaskis be the man for Durham? He is going to bowl the final over
