ECB Blues 129/3 (19 ov)
ECB Blues won by 7 wickets
Player of the match: Alishan Sharafu
ECB Blues win this match by 7 wickets and 1 over to spare!

Both the ECB openers coming into the chase had no pressure of the required run rate thus had the luxury to set themselves in. Vriitya Aravind managed to hit the first boundary in the third over for ECB. DPS bowlers continued to build the pressure as they continued to bowl the tight lines in the powerplay overs.

Vritya who looked promising finally departed in the 7th over as he was caught after being dropped in the preceding over. He was the one who got the boundaries for his side at the start of ECB's innings. Rizwan and Ansh Tandon who came on to bat looked to set themselves and did not take many chances!

Rizwan who was also set looked to take on Nilansh, he hit his first six, and in the process of trying to hit the second one, he lost his wicket. Ansh Tandon and Alishan Sharafu who were the new batters in had to rebuild the innings from that stage.

They did well and took the game deep, Ansh, unfortunately, departed after scoring his first boundary towards the end of those middle overs. Thus Alishan had to restart alongside his skipper to score the runs! Things were surely going down the wire as ECB need 45 runs from the last 5 overs.

Basil hit a boundary and kept the scoreboard in check. But the match had surely become a nail-biter as it was getting tougher for ECB to score more runs towards the back end because of the slowness of the wicket. Rahul Bhatia was the spinner was brought on to bowl the penultimate over which probably was the deciding factor in the match.

24 runs were needed for ECB Blues from 12 balls and what followed was absolute carnage from Basil who scored 26 runs and remained not out till the end. Alishan also remained unbeaten till the end and scored 48 runs.

A Chaotic penultimate over it turned out to be for DPS. Rahul was taken to the cleaners in the previous over and his over just sealed the match. It was the most expensive over of the game as well. He was hammered for three sixes and a boundary.
Over: 19 | Summary: 1 6 4 6 1 6 Bowler: Rahul Bhatia Score: 129/3
18.6 Rahul to Basil, SIX! Basil finishes it off in style and the gamble to give the spinner the 19th over certainly hasn't helped! Full toss outside off and smashed for a maximum. WHAT A MATCH!
18.5 Rahul to Ali Shan, outside off and pushed to mid-wicket for a single. ECB Blues just 1 hit away from the win here!
18.4 Rahul to Ali Shan, SIX! Another one! Length ball outside off and sweeps it over the mid-wicket region for a maximum! Alishan just going for it and ECB now need 7 runs in 8 balls!
18.3 Rahul to Ali Shan, 10 runs off two deliveries! Too full outside off and went deep in his crease and he hits it straight for a boundary. OH MY MY, down the 13 runs in 9 balls!
18.2 Rahul to Ali Shan, SIX! too full outside off and launched it down the ground for a maximum. Down to 17 runs in 10 balls here!
18.1 Rahul to Basil, low full toss outside off, sliced over the in-field on the off side for a single
A great comeback this, the slowness of the surface is really helping the DPS bowlers. The ECB batters are struggling to get some bat on the ball even after setting themselves in! ECB now need 24 runs in 12 balls!

A gamble as Rahul Bhatia comes on to bowl the penultimate over for DPS!

17.2 Omer to Basil, low full toss on the middle-stump, flicked for a brace
17.1 Omer to Basil, outside off on the good length, the batsman attempts to slices it but gets beaten.
A good over as ECB bowlers keep marching on and keep the scoreboard in check. They kept rotating the strike and kept the scoreboard moving. ECB have reached the 100 run mark and now need more 29 runs from 18 balls to win this match.

Change in bowl as Omer comes on to bowl the 18th over!
