Commentary
A rather anti-climax end to the third test match. With an hour remaining for the end of the play, one would have reckoned England might push for the victory but Skipper Joe Root had other plans. As soon as umpire signaled that 15 overs remained in the day, he went up to the batsman Babar Azam and shook hands and called curtains on the match.

So that brings to end another rain-infected Test match of England's last Test of the summer. Pakistan will be dejected that playing one bad session in the first Test costed them the series. England win  #raisethebat series with a 1-0 scoreline and will be happy with their performance over the course of the English summer where they came back from behind against West Indies to win the series and similarly fashioned an epic comeback in the first match against the visitors here.

The three-lions will be especially chuffed with the performance of its batters as the youngster Zak Crawley finally arrived on the big stage and Jos Buttler, whose position was questioned by many pundits in the side, answered his critics with two astonishing innings. Man of the moment, James Anderson reached the 600 wicket milestone and the old guy seems to be just getting better with age.

The focus now moves onto the limited-overs series and Pakistan will be hoping to get their redemption there. DO join us here at Sportskeeda on Sunday where we bring to you the first T20 match between the two sides.

So that's it from our side, this is Abhinav Singh and my partner Shashwat Kumar signing off, hope you all had fun as much as we had in bringing the ball-by-ball update to you. Till next time! Stay safe, stay indoors and keep washing your hands. Goodbye fellas!
83.1 Stuart Broad to Babar Azam, full delivery outside off stump and Babar lets that one go through to the keeper.

And, the players are shaking hands! That should be that!
An expensive over from Anderson but that is the occupational hazard when you take the new ball. Pakistan just about hanging there! 15 overs remaining in the day, Pakistan 187/4

Last HOUR of the play coming up!

82.6 James Anderson to Fawad Alam, another length delivery pushed across the batsman outside off stump. Fawad does not fiddle with that one
82.5 James Anderson to Fawad Alam, back of a length delivery angled across the batsman. The ball pitches outside off stump and that allows Fawad to leave it
82.4 James Anderson to Fawad Alam, back of a length on off stump. Fawad waits for the ball to arrive before defending unconvincingly
82.3 James Anderson to Babar Azam, length delivery on the pads and Babar nudges that one to deep square leg to get down the other end
82.2 James Anderson to Babar Azam, FOUR! Full delivery on off stump and Babar squeezes that one past the fielder at point for another boundary. Two in two for Babar Azam!
82.1 James Anderson to Babar Azam, FOUR! Full delivery on the pads and Babar nonchalantly clips that one past square leg for a boundary! Top shot! Azam moves onto 58 with that sublime boundary!
Wouldn't be a hyperbole to say that if England snare up Babar Azam, they will be in with a realistic chance to wrap up the Pakistan inning by evening! After 82 overs, the visitors crawl onto 178/4, trailing by 132 runs but that is inconsequential!
81.6 Stuart Broad to Fawad Alam, full delivery on middle and off. Fawad works out the angle early before punching it to mid wicket
81.5 Stuart Broad to Fawad Alam, length delivery down the leg side and Fawad fails to make contact with that one. He blocked himself off, to be honest!
81.4 Stuart Broad to Babar Azam, full delivery on the pads and Babar tickles that one away to fine leg for a run
81.3 Stuart Broad to Babar Azam, full delivery on middle and leg and this one is bowled from wide of the crease too. Babar has walked across quite a bit and the ball raps the pads. Only a couple of leg byes in the end!
81.2 Stuart Broad to Babar Azam, length delivery on off stump. Babar gets into a good position before blocking it back to Broad
81.1 Stuart Broad to Babar Azam, PEACH! Length delivery on fifth stump that is bowled from wide of the crease. The batsman plays the angle and pokes at it only to see the ball move past the outside edge
Testing 17 overs await the Pakistani batsmen! Will they be able to hold on till the end of the play? After 81 overs, Pakistan 175/4.

Stuart Broad to bowl from the other end with the new ball
80.6 James Anderson to Fawad Alam, back of a length delivery that is pushed across the batsman on off stump. Fawad uncomfortably plays it away into the off side
80.5 James Anderson to Fawad Alam, length delivery well outside off stump and Fawad lets that one go through to the keeper
80.4 James Anderson to Babar Azam, full delivery on middle and off that shapes away a shade. Babar gets across to off before clipping it past mid wicket for three
