Commentary
England have won the match by 113 runs and have managed to keep the Wisden Trophy alive. An emphatic Day 5 performance from the hosts and the Men from the Caribbean had no answers, really. The series is now all leveled with a deciding Test to be played on the same venue in some days' time.

West Indies batters strolled out after the tea-break hoping that they could sustain the aggressive tactics that were to be employed by Joe Root. Sending in Shane Dowrich before himself didn't look to be a smart strategy from Jason Holder. It didn't pay any sort of dividends as Dowrich's struggles against the pacers were once again exploited and he was rapped in front and was adjudged LBW. Holder and Shamarh Brooks got together and built along nicely before Sam Curran, the game-changer, entangled Brooks on the backfoot and plucked out his wicket. Holder perished soon as Dom Bess got one to bite into the right-hander from the rough patches outside off and made it sneak through his defenses.

West Indies would have been utterly dismayed with their performance yesterday evening when they were trying to bat themselves to safety but ended up handing England half a chance. Take nothing away from Root and his team, though, especially Ben Stokes, who came out all-guns-blazing today and helped England notch up 92 crucial runs in a space of 11 overs. The potential 2nd new ball for which all this hassle was done was never to be as England bundled out the tourists within 80 overs.

It's all set up for a scintillating finale at Old Trafford, scheduled to commence from July 24, as both teams look to gear up for a final tussle for the Wisden Trophy. A lot will be at stake, plentiful cricketing action awaits! That's that from Sportskeeda's live coverage of the 2nd Test of the Raise The Bat Series between England and West Indies. From Momin, Shashwat, and the rest of the commentary team, ciao!
70.1 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, OUT! What a way to end the Test! Length delivery on leg stump and Roach looks to clip it. He hits it aerially though and the ball is caught exceptionally by Pope at short leg. What a catch! Simply stunning!
A maiden over from the skipper Joe Root as and it's time for a bit of a breather here at Old Trafford.
69.6 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, full delivery outside off and Gabriel has a poke at it. He does not make contact and West Indies have stretched the game beyond the Drinks break!
69.5 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, length outside off and defended resolutely by Gabriel.
69.4 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, tossed up outside off and the ball again hits the pads as it spins back.
69.3 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, length outside off and the ball spins back into the batsman off the rough. Hits his pads.
69.2 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, length delivery outside off and Gabriel has a waft at it. Play and a miss.
69.1 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, back of a length delivery and drilled down to mid on. Dot ball./
Joe Root to continue.
A smoking sweep-shot from Kemar Roach to end the over as West Indies trudge along to 198/9.
68.6 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, FOUR! Full delivery on the pads and Roach gets down on one knee before sweeping it away past square leg for four.
68.5 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, slightly quicker this time outside off and the ball lobs off the pads and past silly point.
68.4 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, another length delivery that lands in the rough and spins back into Roach's pads.
68.3 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, another length delivery outside off and this one holds its line to go past the outside edge.
68.2 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, full delivery outside off stump and that one turns back in to rap Roach on the pads. But, the impact is outside off stump
68.1 Dom Bess to Kemar Roach, length delivery at the stumps and Roach nudges that one into the leg side.
Gentle offies from Root at the end of the over that were easily negotiated by Gabriel.
67.6 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, back of a length delivery at the stumps and Gabriel blocks it.
67.5 Joe Root to Shannon Gabriel, full delivery outside off stump and defended by Gabriel.
