Man of the Match: Brendan Taylor - 51* (35)
Kandy Tuskers win by 25 runs!

Batting first, Kandy Tuskers scored 196 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz started well with a couple of sixes before losing his wicket. Kusal Perera and Kamindu Mendis also contributed a few 20's to build up their team's score. The major part of the talking was done through Kusal Mendis and Brendan Taylor's bat. Mendis scored 49 runs in 30 balls while Taylor scored an unbeaten 51 in 35 balls to help their side settle for an above par score of 196.

The bowlers didn't have a good day today as they were hit badly all over the park. Captain Shahid Afridi was the only paper whose economy was below 7. He conceded 25 runs in his four overs spell.

In response, Galle Gladiators opening batsman Danushka Gunathilaka was the lone warrior who scored 82 runs in 53 balls. He failed to get back into his crease and lost his wicket. The team's hopes were shattered as he was the only hope who could guide his side to victory. The other batsmen failed to perform and support their fellow teammate as the sie stumbled to a 25 run loss.

Kandy Tuskers register their first win in LPL 2020 while Galle Gladiators stumble to their third loss and fall to the last position of the points table.
