Commentary

That is a wrap on Group A and the games for the day then. We have had some fine T10 action and will be back tomorrow for more coverage of the ECS. Meanwhile, do not forget to switch tabs and catch all the action from the Lucknow vs Mumbai game. This has been Bidipto and myself (Rishab) as we bid goodbye!

Right then, what a terrific performance this has been from Seaside in these last two games. They have been extremely brilliant with both bat and ball, pulling off two big wins over the Royals to seal their place in the quarter-finals. The bowlers set this game up for them, restricting the Royals to just 53, which pretty much ensured this game was done in the first half itself.

There was not a lot for the batters to do and they made light-work of the chase, wrapping the game up with half the overs to spare. The intent was clear from them to go after the target and boost their net run-rate further up when the chance was there.

Just not enough runs for the Royals bowlers to play with and there was nothing they could really have done with that kind of total on the board. They have let themselves down with a couple of disappointing performances where they really needed to step up. It has been that kind of a two days for them where they threw things away.

Absolute joy for Seaside and the way they have played today, they seem to be a dangerous unit who now have immense confidence and momentum their way!

Done and dusted with that hit in style! Another massive win for Seaside as they complete the double here. Winning by eight wickets and almost five overs to spare. They have done what they needed to and this is the end of the road for the Royals then!
