The second encounter of the day and another mouth-watering clash. GICB will be relying on Dane Edward and Kymani Sexius to deliver the goods while VFNR will have their eyes on the all-rounder Curtly Johnny. The tournament has been off to a great start with a string of impressive performances and these two teams and their stars will be looking to emulate the same feat.
VNR started off well by scoring 21 from the first over. Isidore batted well at the start of the game scoring 32 off 19. After his wicket, no one in the middle order could build a partnership. Shem Paul hanged in there till the end and scored a brilliant 50 off 23 balls but that was just not enough.

The day belonged to Kimani Melius of GCB, Captain's knock from him. Scoring a century in T10 game is extraordinary. His innings put VNR out of the game.

We enjoyed bringing this coverage to you, This is Nikhil Kulkarni and Shashwat Kumar signing off. Take Care and Stay Safe!.
9.6 Lee Solomon to Shem Paul, FOUR! In the slot and Paul carves it through the off side for four.
9.5 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, back of a length at the batsman and Gifford gets an inside edge to point for a single.
9.4 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, yorker on leg stump and the ball somehow misses the leg stump. The ball went between the batsman and the stumps.
9.3 Lee Solomon to Shem Paul, length delivery at the stumps and powerfully driven the ground for one.
9.2 Lee Solomon to Shem Paul, SIX! Full and on off and moussed over long on for another huge six. Shem Paul has some serious batting talent. Why was he batting so low down the order?
9.1 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, a single to begin the final over.
VNR:- 90/5 after 9th over. Last over coming up.
8.6 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, FOUR! Full and straight and hit back over the bowler's head as straight as an arrow. He marches down the track and then thumps it down the ground for another boundary.
8.5 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, FOUR! Short again and Paul rocks onto the back foot before carting it away past square leg for four.
8.4 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, SIX! Rank long hop and Paul absolutely clatters it over the mid-wicket fence for a gigantic six. Too little, too late though.
8.3 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, back of a length delivery outside off and a swish and a miss.
8.2 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, SIX! On a length and in the hitting arc of the batsman. Paul gets down the track and just about gets it over the fielder at long on.
8.1 Dalton Polius to Shem Paul, short outside off and cut through the off-side ring for a couple.
VNR:- 68/5 after 8th over. VNR need 99 runs in 12 balls

7.6 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, back of a length outside off and Gifford looks for the cut shot. But, he is late on the shot and that's the third consecutive dot of the over.
7.5 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, length delivery at the stumps and tamely defended to cover.
7.4 Lee Solomon to Travis Gifford, length delivery angled across the batsman and glided to point.
7.3 Lee Solomon to Shem Paul, full delivery at the stumps and driven down the ground for a single.
7.2 Lee Solomon to Jermain Harding, OUT! Length delivery and Harding looks to go big over cow corner. He gets a decent piece of it but he is hitting against the wind and also to the longer part of the ground. The fielder comes around from mid-wicket and takes a wonderful catch above his head to send Harding on his way.
