Follow IPL T20 live score for Gujarat Lions vs Mumbai Indians

That brings a close to tonight's live coverage of the match. A very good night from us here at Sportskeeda. Do join us for more live action tomorrow!
Krunal Pandya is awarded the Man of the Match award for his brilliant all-round display.
Rohit Sharma says, "Very good birthday present, a great game of cricket. Never been part of super-over, that's something we have learnt as well. We got off to a good start, were sitting pretty until the 10th over, knew the wicket was getting slower and the target was going to be tough. We knew they would bowl well, losing wickets wasn't great, but Krunal did very well to stay until the end. We wanted to build partnerships, but after the first wicket, we didn't get those, it was a slight let-down. Conditions keep changing, we have to adapt. Never expected the wicket to be so slow, hats off to the guys who kept us in the game.

"Momentum plays a big part, the last match - we lost by 3 runs, we have great talent, it's just about playing to our potential, it was a tough match, but we kept ourselves ahead."
Ishan Kishan will take home the Perfect Catch of the Match award. Andrew Tye will get the award for the Maximum Sixes. Parthiv Patel gets the Stylish Player of the Day award.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Raina, "Yes, my heart is fine. Very exciting game. Bumrah bowled a very good over. With that reverse swing and accuracy, you can't do much. The wicket was pretty slow and we tried hard. We lost a couple of wickets up front but we bowled well. We came back really strongly, despite losing Tye. Honestly, we didn't put up a good score. All credit to the bowlers for bringing us back. I haven't seen Tye's injury yet."
And with that one of the most exciting matches of this season comes to an end.

This match was not for the faint-hearted. After a dismal batting performance by the Lions, it seemed like Mumbai will cruise to a victory. Parthiv Patel had given them the start but a brilliant over from James Faulkner brought the Lions right back to the match.

At the end, some exceptional efforts in the field from Irfan Pathan and Ravindra Jadeja ensured that the match went to the super over.

The super over saw two lusty blows from Keiron Pollard and some clever bowling from Faulkner. The Lions were set a target of 12 runs to win the match and Jasprit Bumrah was entrusted with the ball.

And boy, was he brilliant! Yes, there was that no ball and that wide, but he had both Baz and Finch stuck in their blocks with his sleek variations and inch-perfect toe-crushers. He did not concede a single boundary in that over and almost single-handedly helped his team to a victory.

With this win, Mumbai Indians move to 14 points, just behind KKR on net run-rate.
Mumbai Indians win the match in the Super Over.

Mumbai Indians will bat first in the super over.
It has been a valiant effort from the Lions’ bowlers to take the match right down to the wire.

Their batsmen had not given them much to defend and Parthiv Patel had got Mumbai off to a brilliant start. Parthiv was looking pretty solid as he picked his spots and found the boundaries frequently, However, James Faulkner picked up two big wickets in one over to put the pressure right back on Mumbai.

Rohit Sharma was the first one to go, edging one to the keeper. Parthiv, too was caught by the keeper, trying to play it late towards third man. In that very over, Kieron Pollard was dropped by Basil Thampi. After that over, the match turned on its head.

Big KP did not trouble the scoreboard much and with his dismissal, the pressure started mounting on Mumbai. Hardik Pandya had to walk back soon after and it was a matter of who held their nerve. But Krunal Pandya kept his cool and steered his team to tie the scores! Also, spare a thought for Irfan Pathan. Asked to bowl the last over and he delivered and how!

The first super over of this IPL is onto us, ladies and gentlemen.
