Jamaica Tallawahs beat Guyana Amazon Warriors by 5 wickets with 12 balls left and register their second win of the tournament!

That brings us to the end of what seemed to be a one-sided contest between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Jamaica Tallawahs. Starting off the chase, they were struck very early  by Imran Tahir whose googly rattled Chadwick Walton's stumps. However, Glen Phillips and Blackwood score some quick runs by hitting some beautiful shots down and across. But Glen Phillips loses his wicket after a very good start with the bat. Asif Ali fails to make impact with the bat as Tallawahs were 50/3 in the eighth over of the game. Batsmen got their starts but could not capitalize on them and lost wickets. Although, Warriors picked up 5 wickets, they never looked that threatening as they had too little to defend. Later, it was all about patience and calculation from the duo of Nkrumah Bonner and Andre Russell. Both the batsmen scored at run a ball and constructed a very important partnership of 51(47)  to seal the game for Jamaica Tallawahs.

Mujeeb Ur Rahman is the Most Valuable Player of the game for his exceptional performance with the ball.

That is from us here at Sportskeeda, Ladies and Gentlemen. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this game. Do join us for the games later today as we bring you ball by ball updates. Till then, this is Manoj Sarma and my partner Prashanth Satish signing off. Stay Safe ! Adios !
17.6 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Nkrumah Bonner, SIX! Ends things in fine fashion does Bonner! Full-length delivery in the slot and Bonner sends it with absolute disdain over the long-on boundary to end proceedings for JT.
17.5 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Nkrumah Bonner, FOUR! Full-length delivery driven over the infield with arrogance and it runs away to the backward point boundary! Bonner joins the party now! Keen to finish off the game early enough.
17.4 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Nkrumah Bonner, good-length delivery shaping in and beats Bonner on the inside edge. Very close to the off-stump that! Peach of a delivery that as Naveen runs his fingers across the seam and the ball cuts into him and passes through the bat-pad gap.
17.3 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Andre Russell, slower and wide outside off-stump and Russell pulls it with one hand into the leg-side for a single.
17.2 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Andre Russell, FOUR! Full-toss wide outside the off-stump and Dre Russ places this one using the pace to the backward point fence. WOW! What an amusing shot that from Dre Russ. Guides that one for a four. Easy-Peasy!
17.1 Naveen-Ul-Haq to Nkrumah Bonner, good-length delivery just outside off-stump and Bonner guides it down to third man for a single.
End of the 17th over of the game and the Tallawahs are 97/5. Need 12 runs off 18 balls.
16.6 Keemo Paul to Nkrumah Bonner, full-length delivery outside off-stump and Bonner lofts it into the open extra cover region for a single.
16.5 Keemo Paul to Nkrumah Bonner, good-length ball outside off-stump and Bonner pulls it one bounce into the hand of mid-on.
16.4 Keemo Paul to Nkrumah Bonner, full-length delivery driven hard down the ground and Keemo sticks his boot out to save that one from going to the boundary. Would have hurt himself there.
16.3 Keemo Paul to Andre Russell, full delivery driven back down the ground for a single
16.2 Keemo Paul to Andre Russell, slower delivery wide outside off-stump, deceives the batsman with lack of pace as he plays it out somehow.
16.1 Keemo Paul to Andre Russell, SIX! Full and in Russell's slot and he powers this one over the long-on boundary. Absolutely demolished that ! STAND AND DELIVER!  That one was meant to be smacked and Russell does just that.
89/5 after 16 overs are the Tallawahs. Need 20 runs off 24 balls.
15.6 Imran Tahir to Nkrumah Bonner, tossed up delivery on the pads and worked away to square-leg for a single to end the over.
15.5 Imran Tahir to Nkrumah Bonner, FOUR! Tossed up delivery and Bonner drills this one extremely hard down the ground for a boundary. POWERED that one down the ground ! FOUR runs!
15.4 Imran Tahir to Andre Russell, tossed up delivery flicked to short mid-wicket and they set off for a quick single
15.3 Imran Tahir to Andre Russell, good-length delivery on off-stump and Russell defends this one off his back foot. Sensible cricket. Does not want to get carried away.
15.2 Imran Tahir to Andre Russell, SIX! Tossed up delivery spinning away and Russell decides to send this one over the long-on boundary and he does it in style as he slaps this one. Wohoo! What a phenomenal shot that from the big man ! HUGE SIX as he sits down on one knee and launches that one out of the park.
