It is time for myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentator, Ankit Sharma to bid adieu. Do stay tuned to Sportskeeda's coverage of a lot more cricket matches
So, we have the play-off teams confirmed now. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago Knight Riders and St Lucia Kings have made it to the final stage of the competition. The last league between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and Trinbago Knight Riders will determine the final placings
Nicholas Pooran: Thanks to Romario Shepherd special. That kind of fight and that kind of character, it feels very special. He's been working really hard and was waiting to get that one score and the guys are really happy for him. We weren't even sure of 100 at one stage and to get over 130 (with the bat) was really pleasing. Want to improve on our weaknesses and just focus on our team going ahead.
Rovman Powell: I think we got a good start with the ball, we talk about getting right in the first 5-6 overs and I think we did that and at the back-end we kind of strayed a little from our plans. Just a little bit of hope there (last wicket partnership), but the middle-order didn't stand up and if the middle-order don't do well it's always gonna be difficult
Romario Shepherd: "When I went out, Pooran told me to bat out the overs so I tried my best to be there until the 18th over. I've been working hard so here's my result. We need to go to the end and try and win the finals. We've been in the final five times and haven't won it yet. We want to try to get the first."
Romario Shepherd has bagged the 'Man of the Match' award his stellar all-round contribution of 72 runs and three wickets. He was the only reason Guyana managed to win this game!
OH!! Damn!! The umpire has give Chris Green out but he isn't moving. Unfortunately, we don't have DRS in the league and hence Jamaica Tallawahs lose by 14 runs and get knocked out! The match seemed all but over but Chris Green brought it to the final over.
The start was itself poor for Jamaica Tallawahs as Imran Tahir dismissed Kennar Lewis and Kirk McKenzie in the second over. Chadwick Walton looked good for his 20-run knock but Chandrapaul Hemraj eventually got rid of him in the sixth over. From there Jamaica started to collapse as the likes of Shamarh Brooks, Rovman Powell and Imad Wasim fell cheaply. Carlos Brathwaite struck a couple of sixes but his knock was brought to a premature end by Odean Smith.
The match seemed all but over when Romario Shepherd had Russell caught at long-off in the 13th over as Jamaica slipped to 78-8. The chasing side required 64 runs off the last five overs and the job became almost impossible when Naveen-ul-Haq had Migael Pretorius caught and bowled. The duo of Chris Green still made things interesting by smashing 15 runs off the 16th over bowled by Gudakesh Motie while Naveen went onto give away 17 runs in the next.
This left Jamaica to achieve in the final over but Chris Green swung and missed a length delivery bowled by Odean. Unfortunately for Green and Jamaica, the umpire gave it out even though there didn't seem to be any edge
18.0
17.1 Odean Smith to Chris Green , OUT! CAUGHT! WELL WELL WELL! What an anti climax here! Smith gets in a quicker one with a lot of pace, good length angled into the stumps. Green makes some room for himself and tries to loft it over the bowler, but he is unable to match the pace. He ends up getting a very faint edge to the keeper, or at least the umpire thinks so. You cannot hear the nick in the replays, when the ball passes the bat, but the umpire has made his decision, and Green is heartbroken. But what a fantastic effort from the Australian, who brought his team right back from nowhere. At the end, they were still short, just by 14 runs!
Just spellbounding stuff here at St Kitts! Chris Green has somehow kept Jamaica in the game. They need 15 runs off the final over which will be bowled by Odean Smith

16.6 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , full toss on the leg stump. Green is happy to thump this away to long on for one, and keep strike for the final over. What a game this has turned out to be!
16.5 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , SIX!!! KABOOM! Green is keeping them in the hunt, and he is playing with our hearts now. Short ball, wide outside off stump. Green sits in his crease as he slaps this hard and long over the bowler, and over the ropes straight behind the bowler.
16.4 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , low full toss, wide outside the off stump. Green tucks it away straight towards cover. No chance for a run.
16.3 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , FOUR! Full and quick, wide outside off stump. Green swings big, and he picks up a thick edge, that flies over short third man for a boundary. Green is keeping them in the hunt, but surely, it is too much to ask for, isn't it?
16.2 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , SIX MORE! Slower one, good length delivery, coming into the batsman. Green gets under it and hits it hard and long to clear the ropes behind long on.
16.1 Naveen-ul-Haq to Chris Green , good length delivery, just outside off stump. Green tries to go after it, but misses it for the late swing.
WOW!! Surely, Jamaica aren't in the game right? 15 runs off the over. Jamaica need 32 runs off the last 12 balls
