That's it from our end for today's game. We will be back for the second Indo-Pak game of the ongoing Asia Cup 2018. Till then, this is Vignesh Ananthasubramanian signing off on behalf of Srihari and Bagawati Prasad.
It was a comprehensive performance by the Indian team. First, it was Ravindra Jadeja, who helped India restrict Bangladesh for 173. Chasing a modest total, Rohit Sharma anchored his team to a seven-wicket win.
With this win, India have one foot in the final. One more win will put them in the summit clash.
Rohit remained unbeaten on 83 and put on a crucial 66-run stand for the third wicket with MS Dhoni, who holed out for 33 when his teamwas just a shot away from victory.
Dhawan took on the bowlers early on as Rohit was struggling with his timing. Dhawan, who was looking good for yet another fifty, fell for 40. He made sure that his team got off to a great start in their innings. Once Dhawan departed, Rohit kept going and notched up his second fifty in as many games.
After restricting Bangladesh for just 173, India got off to a brilliant start, thanks to openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, who put on 61 runs for the opening wicket.
A comprehensive win for Team India.
India beat Bangladesh by seven wickets.

What an anti-climax! MS Dhoni tried to finish the game with a six and ends up making the long walk back to the pavilion. DK comes in at No.5
35.3 Mortaza to Dhoni, OUT, Dhoni goes to finish it with a six and he is caught at sweeper cover. What an anti-climax this is. Dhoni knows he is going to be out and calls Rohit to cross over quickly before the catch is taken.
35.2 Mortaza to Dhoni, no run, Dhoni picks out the fielder again but this time at backward point. And India wait for the win again.
35.1 Mortaza to Dhoni, no run, wide from Mortaza but Dhoni can only pick out the fielder at cover. And India wait.
