Commentary
Indian CC Vienna won by 8 runs

ICV were smashing the ball from the start of as they had come into the game with a mindset of winning it and making a place for themselves in the semis. Opener Qadargul Utmanzai played a much-needed knock during the of 47 runs in 21 balls. That was a dream start for ICV. Later, Kunal Joshi and his partner Mehar Cheema took helped their team to a total of 123. The bowlers were thrashed badly once again today as we've seen throughout the tournament.

A chase od 124 didn't seem difficult for SAL as they are the masters of chasing the totals but today they short of 8 runs. Once again Nisar Ahmed started off in style with a quickfire known of 30 runs in just 12 balls. The team were off to a brilliant start but as usual, we saw that struggle against the spinners. Zahi Khan came to the rescue and remained 39 not out with 2 fours and 4 sixes to his name. His contribution wasn't enough as the team ended up on the losing side. Spinners made the best use of the track today as Kumud Jha and Gursewak Sandhu picked up two wickets each and ended the match with figures 2/6 and 2/24 respectively.

Finally, ICV will be celebrating after this victory as they move one step forward toward booking a berth for themselves in the semis.

That's it from this exciting clash between Indian CC Vienna and Salzburg CC. Thanks for joining us today. On behalf of my partner, Maanas and myself, Farzan sign off! Until next time, Good Bye!
9.6 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, slower yorker and the batsman gets the inside edge that goes to fine leg for just a single. With that, Indian CC Vienna beat Salzburg CC by 8 runs!
9.5 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, no run, length ball on the off stump swinging in and the batsman goes for the slog but fails to connect!
9.4 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, no run, slower length ball outside off and the batsman is deceived by the change of pace. Cannot get bat on ball and that is a dot ball! 10 needed off 2 balls now!
9.3 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, full ball outside off and the batsman flicks it to deep mid-wicket for a single. A wide overthrow gifts them a second run.
9.2 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, SIX! Length ball on the off stump angling in and the batsman whips it for a huge maximum over square leg! He's gone for it once again and Zhair Khan is on fire! 12 needed off 4 balls now!
9.1 Q Utmanzai to Z Khan, FOUR! Length ball outside off and the batsman smacks that straight over the bowler's head for a boundary! 18 runs needed of 5 balls now!
Qadargul Utmanzai to bowl the final over.
A huge error by ICV as they handed the ball to a pacer during the penultimate over. He's being thrashed badly for several runs. They'll have to get a spinner into the attack with 22 runs being required from the last 6! SAL currently stands at 102 for the loss of six wickets.
8.6 A Gopalakrishnan to L Muhammad, leg cutter outside off and the batsman chips it towards mid-wicket for a couple of runs.
8.5 A Gopalakrishnan to L Muhammad, no run, slower length ball that raps the batsman on the thigh pad and deflects to point. A bit of a yes-no situation but they do not run in the end.
8.4 A Gopalakrishnan to Z Khan, full ball outside off and the batsman skies it. The point fielder drops an easy catch and the batsmen scamper across for a single.
8.3 A Gopalakrishnan to Z Khan, SIX! Full ball on the pads and the batsman whips that for a maximum over square leg! The chase is on!
8.2 A Gopalakrishnan to Z Khan, SIX! full toss on the body and the batsman whacks that away for a maximum towards cow corner! He hammers the ball and it files miles away over the boundary line.
8.1 A Gopalakrishnan to L Muhammad, length ball outside off and the batsman carves it to deep point for a single.
Good over for both the sides! The game currently looks in favour of Indian CC Vienna. SAL 86/6 after 8 overs. With 2 overs remaining, they require 38 runs.
7.6 G Sandhu to Z Khan, SIX! Full ball outside off and the batsman punishes it over long on for a huge maximum!
7.5 G Sandhu to Z Goraya, OUT! Length ball rising sharply and the batsman tries to slog it. The ball goes quite high but not the distance the batsmen wanted and the long on fielder takes a good catch!
7.4 G Sandhu to Z Khan, full ball outside off pushed to deep cover for a single.
7.3 G Sandhu to Z Khan, FOUR! Length ball outside off and the batsman gets the outside edge. The ball trickles away to the third man fence!
