SAL after that just could not bounce back as the difference between the runs scored and the runs needed to be scored started to widen. SAL who have been great chasers just could do it on this occasion and their 3 match winning streak comes to an end along with their hopes to win the ECS Vienna title.
It all happened in the seventh over which was bowled by Daud. He got three wickets in that over, he started off with the big fish Shahbaz who starting to look dangerous. He went to get the wickets of Ranjit and Zahid later on and really pushed SAL on the back foot.
Shahbaz and Balwinder were the two batters out in the middle and tried to better things but it did not happen. After a 15 runs stand between the two was broken, wickets just tumbled for SAL as they had a horrible collapse.
But his innings did not last long as he lost his wicket towards the end of the powerplay batting on 17 runs. Imran who came after Zeeshan lost his wicket in a similar fashion and SAL were starting to feel the pressure as their top 3 batters were back in the hut.
Coming in to chase 99 runs, SAL lost an early wicket as in the form of Abrar who was sent back for a duck. Zeeshan was still scoring at a runner ball at the other end. INV kept the bowling tight in the first couple of overs but after that, Zeeshan decided to unleash himself.
INV have bounced back strong and have managed to contain SAL's strong batting lineup to reach through to the finals. SAL had a great run and looked like one of the finest teams coming late into the competition.

9.5 Ahmad Ghani to Ali Shah, slower ball, ends up as a low full toss. Drives it down the ground to long-off for a single
9.4 Ahmad Ghani to Ali Shah, back of a length closer to the body, Shah makes some room trying to go big through the on-side but connects only with thin air

SAL still 30 runs away from the total. A huge turnaround it has been as it looked like SAL surely be able to chase this total down. INV have done really well to get themselves back into this match. SAL need to 5 straight matches if they wanted to win the ECS but they are going to lose on their 4th game and end their 3 match winning streak
