Superb win for Lisbon Capitals but that dents Indian Royals to their fifth consecutive loss. Chasing 99 was going to be challenging and the same reflected in Lisbon's start too. The openers Amir Dar and Dikshit Patel fell early but Lisbon rebuilt decently after that. The pair of Ali Raza and Taj Muhammad managed to meet the asking rate until the fourth over when Lakshman KC got rid of the former.

A few deliveries later, Taj also departed as Akshay Thorbole struck off his very first ball. Imran Imran still showed intent but his knock was cut short by Jasbinder Singh. Jasbinder got another scalp in the eighth over with Kashi Ram the man who was sent back. However, the pair of Dhaval Patel and Mitul Patel kept their composure and took 17 runs off the penultimate over. In the end, Dhaval heaved a maximum over mid-wicket to go past the victory line with three balls to spare!
