75.6 Paul Stirling to Faheem Ashraf. Off break length ball, off stump on the front foot defending, to silly mid on for no runs, fielded by Kane. Unfortunately the clouds have rolled in and the rain has come with it. It's pretty heavy too and it looks likely that we will have a premature finish to today's play.

A day in which Ireland showed promise and quality in the opening two sessions. Their bowler's bowled some good lines but lost some of the required consistency as the day went on. The Pakistani lower order have punished them excellently with this 109 unbeaten partnership that will run in to tomorrow. The new ball is due four overs in to the day, maybe that will bring Ireland some joy of skittling Pakistan out for a reasonable 300 total. It looked like it could have been a lot better for Ireland earlier on, 200 wasn't out of the question but a series of dropped catches and well judged batting has led Pakistani to take the advantage this evening.
75.5 Paul Stirling to Faheem Ashraf. Off break half volley, outside off stump on the front foot defending, to silly point for no runs, fielded by O'Brien.
75.4 SIX! Paul Stirling to Faheem Ashraf. Off break half volley, outside off stump on the front foot Slog, well timed in the air under control over long on for 6 runs. The first six of the day as Ashraf picks up the half-volley and sends it sailing over the long-on boundary. Ashraf has been brilliant in waiting for the poor delivery and punishing it suitably.
75.3 Paul Stirling to Faheem Ashraf. Off break length ball, outside off stump on the back foot working, to short mid wicket for no runs, fielded by Kane.
