What a dominant performance from Islamabad United in this next match. It's their fourth win in this tournament and it was a fantastic comeback after their loss the other day. They literally outplayed Quetta Gladiators in all three departments, batting, bowling, and fielding. The pitch should be a topic of discussion. In the first innings, it seemed that the wicket was doing all sorts of things. Azam Khan even said that he felt the ball was holding up a bit on the surface.

Having said that, nothing seemed to hold on Munro and Khawaja, especially the New Zealander. He was in full form. There were some classical shots and some outrageous ones. This was the exact thing he was brought in to do. The way he batted it almost deflated the spirits of the Quetta players, who now need to win each and every match to stand a chance to qualify for the next round. Munro hit 12 fours and five big sixes. His knock along with Khawaja's support ensured that Islamabad won the match with 10 overs to spare, something which has not been done in PSL ever. Munro stayed unbeaten for 90 from 36 balls. It was quite fitting that he reserved sweep a ball for six to finish the run chase. Khawaja ended with 41 runs from 27 balls, but it was the Munro show that will keep people talking for some time. He also got the man of the match, which wasn't a difficult decision to make for the officials.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, Quetta Gladiators' captain seemed upset but in his very own style said that he will do his best to boost up the morals of his team. Islamabad United with this win has now risen to the second position, just behind Lahore Qalandars.

9.6 Mohammad Nawaz to Colin Munro, ENDS WITH A BANG! We have seen something really special here, fired in full on off stump. Munro turns sides, reverse sweeps this one away over point for a maximum
9.5 Mohammad Nawaz to Usman Khawaja, driven away, full and outside the off stump. Khawaja moves across and drives it hard to sweeper covers for a single
9.4 Mohammad Nawaz to Colin Munro, quicker and flatter angling into the pads, Munro gently turns this one away to the leg side for a single
9.3 Mohammad Nawaz to Usman Khawaja, slow and tossed up on stump line, Khawaja moves across and turns this one away to the leg side for a single
9.3 Mohammad Nawaz to Usman Khawaja, WIDE! A little too far outside the off stump, called wide. Just 6 needed now!
9.2 Mohammad Nawaz to Usman Khawaja, quick and outside the off stump, Khawaja looking to cut it away but gets beaten this time
9.1 Mohammad Nawaz to Usman Khawaja, quick and on a length just outside the off stump, Khawaja taps this one to the point fielder.
Just seven runs required here now. Can be done in just a couple of balls. This will be one of the best runchases in the history of the tournament.

8.6 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, FOUR! Down the leg side, easy pickings. Munro goes down on one knee and sweeps this one away past fine leg for another boundary.
8.5 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, quicker and on stump line, Munro wants to slog sweep this one but ends up not making any contact
8.4 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, tries to play the reverse, fired in outside the off stump. Ends up not making contact though
8.3 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, slow and on middle and leg, Munro defends this one out to the off side
8.2 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, SIX! Down the track and out of here, tossed up and Munro steps down to deposit this one over long on for a maximum.
8.1 Zahid Mahmood to Colin Munro, DROPPED! Just did not get there in time, tossed up outside the off stump. Munro goes down on one knee and does not get the slog sweep right. Azam at mid wicket, does not get across in time and it goes through his hand for a boundary this time
8th over ends there, its 112 for no loss. Quetta has a lot of thinking to do. But, fortunately, after the match. Because this game is just set for them to lose.
