That concludes the coverage of this match. This is the commentary team of Pradeep and Prakhar saying goodbye!
Jharkhand 123/7 after 20 overs, Tamil Nadu win by 66 runs.

It was a great struggle for the Jharkhand batsmen in the chase. Just 14 boundaries and a solitary six came from Jharkhand batsmen in a chase of 190, clearly highlighting how difficult it was for them to get going in the chase. Maybe the team relied heavily on their skipper Ishan Kishan. But the keeper-batsman was out very early in the chase. And once he was gone, the other batsmen struggled to even connect the bat onto the ball A couple of 20s from Virat Singh and Anand Singh. No major contribution from any other batsmen.

Tamil Nadu bowlers were impressive. Sonu Yadav bowled a fine spell of 3/31. There was a wicket each for Sandeep Warrier, Hari Nishanth, Murugan Ashwin and Ravisrinivasan Sai Kishore.

Earlier, after being asked to bat first by Jharkhand captain Ishan Kishan, Tamil Nadu would be happy with this total. Thanks to an unbeaten 92 from 64 balls from opener Hari Nishanth, Tamil Nadu is able to post a strong total on the scoreboard. Nishanth was well supported by his opening partner N. Jagdeesan who played a steady knock of 27. At one stage it looked like TN would be able to take their score somewhere between 160 to 170 but the arrival of TN skipper Dinesh Karthik changed the complexion of the inning.

Ishan Kishan used as many as seven bowlers. He kept making too many bowling changes right through the course of the inning. Jharkhand bowlers were left clueless by constant changes in the bowling and relentless attack from the TN bowlers. Only Rahul Shukla bowled a decent spell as he returned with decent figures of 2/27.

The only cause for TN will the injury to all-rounder Vijay Shankar. He seemed to have injured either his calf muscle or pulled his hamstring while he was bowling. He could not complete his spell and walked off the ground and did not take any further part in the match.
And with that Jharkhand have been put out of their misery. Tamil Nadu win the match by 66 runs. Tamil Nadu not only win the match but also fetch the bonus point. A great start for the Dinesh Karthik-led side. Too much to contemplate for Jharkhand.
A wicket and eleven runs off the last over of the match.
Over: 20 | Summary: 2 4 1 W 4 0 Bowler: R Sonu Yadav Score: 123/7
19.6 Sonu Yadav to Monu Kumar, another brilliant slower delivery that almost crashed into the stump as Monu goes for the almighty swing, misses everything as it goes through the batsman and the keeper collects it neatly in the end. Tamil Nadu win this comprehensively by playing some attacking cricket right through the game!
19.5 Sonu Yadav to Monu Kumar, FOUR! Short delivery into Monu who stands back to whack it on the on-side and clears the gap at deep square leg region to pick up a boundary
Monu Kumar, RHB, walks out to bat.
19.4 Sonu Yadav to Shahbaz Nadeem, OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Excellent deception from the bowler as he rolled through his fingers to bowl a slower one and Nadeem goes through the shot for a whack and gets the thick outside edge to the keeper as Karthik comes forward to take an easy catch
19.3 Sonu Yadav to Anand Singh, good length delivery into Anand on the middle and leg as he was cramped for room and he tucked it away to the square leg region for a single
19.2 Sonu Yadav to Anand Singh, FOUR! Low full toss on the off stump. Anand moves across and picks his spot as he whips it away from the short fine-leg fielder to pick up a boundary

Eleven runs off the over. Jharkhand need 78 runs off the last 6 balls of the match. Impossible by any stretch of the imagination.
