Peshawar Zalmi 188/5 (20 ov)
Karachi Kings 191/4 (19.3 ov)
Karachi Kings won by 6 wickets
Player of the match: Mohammad Nabi
Well well well... 13 matches have been played and the team batting first are yet to reign supreme in this tournament. Despite posing a match-winning target, Peshawar Zalmi capitulated to Babar's classy batting and Nabi's brilliant hits.

As we move forward, the wait continues for the team batting first to taste success, and we have one more game to go today as Quetta Gladiators will lock horns with Multan Sultans. Don't forget to follow the updates on our commentary page starting at 7:30 PM. Now, It's time to say goodbye from this encounter, and hope you enjoyed the coverage from me Pragadeesh and from my fellow textpert Soorya. Cheers
Imad Wasim: I think the way Babar and Nabi played was fantastic. Their bowlers got enough variations to trouble our batters and it was heartening to see the way Babar finished the innings. We were under control of the match but sometimes we have to give credit to the opposition. Amad played sensationally but happy to be on the winning side
Mohammed Nabi: It was a very good partnership. The pitch was very good for batting and you need someone like Babar to pull off chases like this successfully.
Mohammed Nabi is the player of the match
Shoaib Malik: Yes, we felt things were under control after we picked up three wickets. We needed more wickets to have the upper hand in these batting-friendly pitches but we couldn't get any. Yes, we should've gotten that catch off Nabi. We should improve on our fielding to set good standards in this tournament.
The crowd erupts. You could see the fist bumps and handshakes all around. Daniel Christian will be the relived man after conceding 32 runs in his final over.

Peshawar Zalmi had things under control until the 11th over but they slipped away the momentum and all credit goes Babar Azam and Mohammed Nabi. Two standout innings from Babar and Nabi after the loss of early wickets and the former anchored the innings at the start before pulling off something special in the final eight overs to make sure his team gets to the finishing line with minimum fuss. Amad Butt played a blinder to help Peshawar Zalmi pose a very good total but he dropped a sitter off Mohammed Nabi, and the Afghanistan all-rounder went on to play a match-winning innings in the end.
Over: 20 | Summary: 0 1 2 Bowler: Umaid Asif Score: 0/0
19.3 Umaid Asif to Dan Christian, 2 runs! Life comes a full circle for Dan Christian! At the receiving end when he sent down the final over of the Zalmi innings, but clips a full ball drifting onto the pads behind square for a couple to seal the game for his side. Karachi Kings win by 6 wickets and that is 13 out of 13 successful run chases this season!
19.2 Umaid Asif to Babar Azam, no control over the pull shot - dropped short at the stumps, Babar swivels towards the fielder at fine leg who was positioned quite square. Fell short of him
19.1 Umaid Asif to Babar Azam, DOT BALL! Full and straight at the stumps, Babar checks a drive straight to the short cover fielder
The equation is simple. 3 runs needed from the final over. Shoaib Malik is busy setting the field and Umaid Asif is to bowl the final over
Over: 19 | Summary: 4 1 2 0 6 0 Bowler: Mohammad Imran Score: 186/4
18.6 Saqib Mahmood to Dan Christian, just within the tram line! Fires this full outside off, Christian reaches out but misses on the connection! Goes through to the keeper! Three required off the final over!
18.5 Saqib Mahmood to Dan Christian, SIX! This should be the game then! Poor from Saqib, in the slot on off-stump and that is bread and butter for DC! Smokes that over the mid-on fence for the full monty!
18.4 Saqib Mahmood to Dan Christian, dot ball! Slower and outside off, Christian reaches out for it but doesn't get bat on it
18.3 Saqib Mahmood to Dan Christian, follows the batsman with a slower one as he walks across looking to slog into the leg-side. A last-minute adjustment from Christian means that he squirts a forward prod onto the leg-side and they run a rapid two!
18.2 Saqib Mahmood to Babar Azam, dabs this length ball towards the third man region where the fielder picks up
18.1 Saqib Mahmood to Babar Azam, FOUR! This man is special! Short around off-stump, Babar gives him self a little bit of room to smack this off the back foot through the extra cover region!
Just 7 runs off the over. Three dots on the trot to make things slightly interesting as we head into the final two overs. 16 runs needed and Peshawar need some magic if they are to emerge victorious.

Saqib Mahmood to bowl the final over
