It's all over! An emphatic victory from Asian Latina Cricket Club as they overpowered KEL by 27 runs. Muthumala fired on all cylinders at the start, smashing 16 runs off the first over. KEL scored 35 runs in the powerplay but their middle order failed to carry the momentum forward. Boundaries dried up after the fifth over, with Gurdip bowling brilliant line and lengths to trouble the batsmen. The turning point may be Gurdip and Gurmeet's spell as the duo conceded just 24 runs and picked up four wickets. ASL bowlers used the extra bounce on the wicket to their advantage and that made life difficult for KEL batsmen. Kent Lanka will look to improve their batting effort in their second match of the day, which will be starting exactly 15 minutes from now. Make sure you follow the updates on that encounter from our Sportskeeda page, but, for now, this is Pragadeesh waving goodbye on behalf of my fellow commentator, Maanas.
Over: 10 | Summary: 1 4lb 1 0 W 1 Bowler: Sukhbir Singh Score: 79/5
9.6 Sukhbir Singh to Muthumala Dinesh, nails the yorker on the middle stump, Dinesh jams that out towards long on and the batsmen jog through for a single. A brilliant performance with the ball from the Asian Latina Cricket Club as they clinically beat the Kent Lanka Cricket Club by 27 runs!
9.5 Sukhbir Singh to Weerasinghe Risal Samaru, OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! short ball on the off stump dug in, the batsman clears his front foot and looks to smack it downtown. Ends up slicing it in the air and the bowler takes a good running catch to send him packing!
9.4 Sukhbir Singh to Weerasinghe Risal Samaru, no run, length ball on the off stump, the batsman makes room for himself and looks to punch it through the covers but fails to do so in the end
9.3 Sukhbir Singh to Muthumala Dinesh, length ball on the body, heaved towards deep mid-wicket for a single.
9.2 Sukhbir Singh to Muthumala Dinesh, FOUR! Easy pickings! Length ball on the body, Dinesh rocks back and just needed to get some bat on it. Does so and sends it away to the fine leg fence!
9.1 Sukhbir Singh to Weerasinghe Risal Samaru, length ball outside off, cut to deep point for a single.
Six maximums will do it for KEL. Singh to bowl the last over

8.6 Charanjeet Singh to Weerasinghe Risal Samaru, length ball on the body, raps the batsman on the pads, rolls towards the keeper, deflects off his pads towards short third man for a single.

8.3 Charanjeet Singh to Muthumala Dinesh, FOUR! SHOT! Back of a length ball on the off stump, the batsman clears his front foot as he pulls that authoritatively through the square leg region for a boundary!

8.1 Charanjeet Singh to Muthumala Dinesh, no run, skiddy length ball on the off stump, the batsman looks to cut it but is once again unable to do so.
It's looking difficult but not impossible. Charanjeet Singh to bowl the penultimate over

The extra bounce that ASL bowlers are getting at the moment is wreaking havoc for the batsmen. Another fantastic over from Hashmat Dhindsa as he went just 4 runs
