Commentary
Kings Xi Cricket Club beat Kent Lanka Cricket Club by 3 wickets with 3 balls to spare!

That brings us to the end of a thrilling contest as KCCXI beat KLCC by 7 wickets. Starting off the chase, KCCXI started off very cautiously but a lot of it has to do with the way KLCC bowled. They stuck to the basics and bowled wicket to wicket. Vikas Kumar was the  star of the chase throughout the game as he held one end right from the start and scored big and long at will but he middle order could not support him well initially. The required run rate kept going up but Vikas Kumar kept it in check. But he lost his wicket in the penultimate over of the game but Jaswinder Singh and Sarabjit Singh held their nerve in the end finished the game of with few mighty blows to seal the game for Kings XI Cricket Club.

That is it from us here at Sportskeeda, Viewers. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this thrilling contest. Do join us for the games later today. Till then, this is Manoj Sarma and my partner Abhinav Singh signing off. Stay Safe!
9.4 Dissawe Mudiyanselage to Jaswinder Singh, what an anti-climax end to the match! One run required off three deliveries and Dissawe bowls this one down the leg and the umpire calls it a WIDE. Kings XI Cricket Club have finally opened their account in the tournament!
9.3 Dissawe Mudiyanselage to Jaswinder Singh, SIX! where did that come from! tossed up delivery on the stumps, Singh sits on one knee and smokes the ball into the orbit over midwicket for a huge SIX! SCORES-LEVEL! What a terrific hit under pressure by Jaswinder Singh.
9.2 Dissawe Mudiyanselage to Jaswinder Singh, tossed up ball on pads and worked away to deep midwicket for quick and important two runs!
9.1 Dissawe Mudiyanselage to Sarbjit Singh, full ball outside off and hit straight into the hands of sweeper cover who takes the catch but because the ball was a free hit the batsman come around for a single! Tragedy for the Kent Lanka team!
9.1 Dissawe Mudiyanselage to Sarbjit Singh, short ball outside off and the new batsman misses the cut! A scoring opportunity gone begging! Anti-Climax, a no ball is signaled! Free hit coming up!
End of the penultinmate over of the game and KCCXI are 68/3. Need 12 runs off the last over. Can Jaswinder singh do it for his team?
8.6 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to Jaswinder Singh, slow back of hand delivery on the fifth stump line and Jaswinder is again drawn into the shot much earlier and therefore he loses his shape when the ball actually reaches him
8.5 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to S Singh, short ball outside off and cut away ferociously to deep backward point for a triple! Good running! Terrific collective effort in the deep. Certainly saved one run.
8.4 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to Jaswinder Singh, full ball on offstump and sliced to third man for a single only
8.3 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to Vikas Kumar, OUT!! short delivery outside off, Kumar tried to reach for it but got the toe-end of the bat straight to cover point where the fielder took a diving catch. Vikas Kumar PERISHES! Is this the twist in the tale?
8.2 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to Vikas Kumar, FOUR!back of length delivery on pads and tucked behind square gently for a boundary! A welcome boundary indeed! He gets hold of this one this time around. Fetches this one from just outside off stump and sends it to the deep square leg boundary.
8.1 Bashitha Mihindukulasuriya to Vikas Kumar, back of length delivery on offstump and the bowler very cunningly rolled his fingers over it to deceive the batsman. DOT to start the penultimate over
8 overs gone and KCCXI are 60/2. Need 20 runs in 12 balls at 10 RPO. Can Vikas Kumar pull this off for his team.
7.6 Handi Jagath de Silva to Vikas Kumar, length ball that pitches on middle and off, raps the batsman on pads and he runs away to steal a quick single of leg-bye
7.6 Handi Jagath de Silva to Vikas Kumar, sprayed down the leg side, WIDE signalled
7.5 Handi Jagath de Silva to Vikas Kumar, length ball on fifth stump line and Kumar tries to go too hard on that one, gets an inside edge for no run
7.4 Handi Jagath de Silva to Jaswinder Singh, overpitched delivery on pads and mistimed to short long off for a single. They need a boundary this over to ease the pressure.
7.3 Handi Jagath de Silva to Vikas Kumar, length ball outside off and driven straight to the covers fielder. Kumar cannot find the gap on the occasion
7.2 Handi Jagath de Silva to Jaswinder Singh, good length ball on stumps, Singh makes some room and cuts the ball to point for a single
