That is it from us at Sportskeeda. Hope you all enjoyed this fixture and do not forget to join us for tomorrow's game between the Gujarat Lions and the Delhi Daredevils. For now, it is goodnight and goodbye.
Winning captain Maxwell says, "Akshar Patel did well. We managed to put Lynn under pressure. We stopped the bleeding of runs and that created pressure. I thought we were 10-15 short but we backed our plans. The way we bowled and fielded was nice. And I wish to keep winning the toss."

Time for some presentations.
Chris Lynn was impressive yet again with the bat, but the KXIP bowlers ensured that after his dismissal, they would ride smoothly to the shores of victory.
However, everything started happening for the KXIP after the double breakthrough in the 10th over of the match. The way Rahul Tewatia created the chances by piling up pressure on the batsman was amazing to watch. And after the double blow, KXIP pulled things back and asserted their supremacy throughout the game.
The KXIP will be difficult to stop in the next game. Surely. The way they played today, special mention about the bowlers. Sandeep Sharma showcased that he can swing the ball early on and even bowl consistently in the yorker length. Mohit Sharma was the better of the two Sharmas today. The KKR batsmen just couldn't pick his deceiving knuckle-ball.
Losing captain Gambhir says, "We started off pretty well. Lynn and Manish did well. They didn't give us easy runs. We were off to a good start, 60 in just 6 overs but then the required rate climbed. And about the combination, we will think about it. Maybe I will open along with Lynn in the next game and Robin could bat at number 3."
That last over from Sandeep Sharma was truly special. A really spectacular way to finish their season in front of the home fans. They have defended 167 would you believe. So with that, KXIP are still in the contention for a place in the top-four. Skipper Maxwell is overwhelmed and so are their fans. Impressive work from the bowling department.

KXIP are totally pumped up here. It all started after the tight spell of bowling from Tewatia and not to forget, he was supported well by Axar. Now then, 29 to get from the last 2. Can the Knight Riders snatch victory from the jaws of defeat? Or can KXIP survive the scare?
