That's all from us here at Sportskeeda. Join us tomorrow for the encounter between the Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals
Ravichandran Ashwin - Really disappointing. Wasn't at all a professional effort from us. That has been the story for us. It's been the bowlers who have done it right and got the points for us. The batsmen have struggled more often than not. Anyways we need to chin up and move forward. Need to try and make sure to lift ourselves. We need to stay positive and move forward. It was very simple. We have never got to 20 overs with 3 down or 4 down so far in the tournament. That's what we wanted to achieve but the wheels came off at the right time for us. We lost by a big margin and our net run rate has come down. We need to go to Mumbai and try them to bed then we go to Chennai. Most of this guys have played for a long time now. We have a reasonable bowling attack that has fired for us. The internationals need to step up and live up to their expectations.

Parthiv: We had to. Our bowlers did a brilliant job to restrict them to under 100. We knew there was a chance to get the NRR up and went with a positive intent. That was in the mind (to finish it quickly), but we wanted start well and took a couple of overs. I thought we bowled brilliantly on this wicket. There was some swing early on and they bowled in the right areas. It is a small ground and great wicket to bat on. We are in a situation where we have nothing to lose, just go out there and enjoy each game.
What a win for RCB! They have taken their net run-rate to the positive and will be high on confidence going into their final two games of the season against SRH and RR. KXIP, on the other hand have made the qualification scenario extremely difficult for themselves now. They will have 2 extremely difficult matches aginst the Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. This was probably the best performance by RCB since 2016.
8.1 Rajpoot to Kohli, FOUR! Short of a length, he tries to hook it, gets a thick edge over Rahul.
8.1 Rajpoot to Kohli, NO BALL, that's above waist height, he tries to hoick it to long off who drops it.
Over 8 RCB: 87/0(RR 10.88) Bowler: A Tye Sum..: 1 1 . 4 1 1

7.4 Tye to Patel, FOUR! Short of a length, he arches back and pokes his bat out, sends it fine enough to beat third man.
7.3 Tye to Patel, no run, there's a massive hoick but can't get any wood on it. Change of pace working well.
7.2 Tye to Kohli, 1 run, dances down the ground and tries to hammer the ball away, can only reach as far as long off.
7.1 Tye to Patel, 1 run, on the off stump, tapped to third man for a single.

5.6 Tye to Kohli, SIX! Bang! Hammered down the ground. That's full, and Kohli easily gets underneath that one and smacks it over long off. That was as flat as it gets. They're racing away to the target now
