That was it from us at Sportskeeda today. Do catch us tomorrow for the clash between CSK and RR at Pune, the former's new home ground for the rest of this season
Very obviously, Chris Gayle is the Man of the Match
Kane Williamson: Hats off to Chris Gayle. We know what he can do. This wicket wasn't a free-flowing wicket. We can learn a few things from the way they bowled. They bowled a touch short, we were much fuller. Shikhar has been hitting the ball beautifully, he's got a role to play. Tonight, our loss wasn't because of lack of effort. The lengths they bowled were superb, they used the big boundaries well. Now, we've to just look forward to the next game. There's been a clear pattern of play we're looking to execute, we didn't do that tonight.
Not surprisingly, SRH have fallen to defeat by 15 runs against KXIP. They never got going in the chase after Shikhar Dhawan's injury sent him back having faced only one ball and the slow stand between Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey did little to their chances. Gayle destroyed SRH with an unbeaten century and there was no looking back for the hosts after that. SRH have been hit with their first loss of the season in their fourth match, and will hope, among other things, that Dhawan's injury is not too serious.
19.6 Ashwin to Pandey, 1 run, Pandey walks down and just takes a single. Kings XI Punjab beat SRH by 15 runs.
19.5 Ashwin to Shakib, 1 run, goes for three in three. Doesn't connect. That is a drop by Mujeeb. No one seems very interested in giving this game a fitting finish.
19.4 Ashwin to Shakib, SIX, make it two in two. Too little, too late.
19.3 Ashwin to Shakib, SIX, that went a mile in the air and had just about enough legs to clear the two fielders converging at the deep.
19.3 Ashwin to Shakib, WIDE
19.2 Ashwin to Pandey, 1 run, Pandey walks down for an evening stroll and picks up a single like he would a newspaper.
19.1 Ashwin to Shakib, 1 run, wild slog but not connection as he just gets a single.
Do they have enough runs in the bank for Gayle to roll his arm over?

18.6 Mohit to Pandey, 2 runs, Pandey dances down again and takes a two wide of a diving long off.
18.5 Mohit to Pandey, 2 runs, goes down, stretches like he is at the gym and takes a couple to long off.
18.4 Mohit to Shakib, 1 run, slower short ball and that is pulled to deep square leg.
18.4 Mohit to Shakib, WIDE, goes down the track and too short.
18.3 Mohit to Pandey, 1 run, an inside edge back to the keeper and Pandey gets a single to get off strike.
18.2 Mohit to Pandey, SIX, that was in the slot and Pandey gets his FIFTY off 37 balls with a six.
18.1 Mohit to Shakib, 1 run, another slower ball from Mohit but Shakib just pulls that to deep square leg.
Mohit Sharma to finish off

17.2 Sran to Shakib, no run, excellent inswinging yorker on the pads.
