And with that, we bring the live coverage of today's match to an end. Do join us tomorrow for some more live commentary coming your way. Until then, goodbye from all of us here at Sporstkeeda. Have a good night!
Tripathi says, "I enjoyed my batting today. I was getting good starts, but I was not able to push on. Today we won also, so very happy I could contribute and bat long. I'm just trying to middle the ball, this is all new for me [ the crowd], so I'm just trying to concentrate on what I can do Watch the ball, hit the ball is my way. I know there are areas I need to improve, but I'm just doing what I can. I hit six sixes in an over two times recently in a local tournament. I'm happy that I'm hitting the ball well and hopefully, it continues. I think we had a very good start, the run-rate was always down, so the idea was to play till the end. Smith and Fleming told me to just hang in there, not to try anything extra. I enjoyed hitting sixes, the wicket was good, it was coming onto the bat."
Rahul Tripathi is the Man of the Match. No surprises there.
Smith says, "It's been a good run for us. It's been a good team performance for us. Tripathi - hasn't he been a revelation for us? The bowlers really have done an exceptional job for us. In fact, quite a few different guys stood up and helped us get past the winning line. We went in hard with the new ball and tried to put as many runs in the powerplay. Tripathi took on the bowlers. Really unfortunate that he hasn't got a hundred. Hopefully, we will record few more win and be there come the playoffs time."
The Perfect Catch of the Match award goes to Roman Powell. The Maximum Sixes award goes to Rahul Tripathi. The Stylish Player of the Day award goes to Surya Kumar Yadav.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
Gambhir says, "It's a long tournament and these things happen. It was an opportunity for some of the other guys to show what they can do. Robin had a niggle, we didn't want to risk him today. Obviously, till the time you are not there in the playoffs you are not in the playoffs. We have three more games to go, and hopefully, we can turn this around. We played decent cricket, taking it to the last over, but we should have got more on the board. Warner took the game away in the last game, Tripathi took it away today. batsmen have to be positive, be sensible. We shouldn't have played so many dot balls. We were not taking the game forward. We really need to rectify that.  If you play dot balls and lose wickets, you don't take the game forward. We still have to qualify till the time you qualify. We need to be positive. It's not yet do or die, but we need to pull up our socks."
RPS were on top of the KKR bowlers right from the very start. This year’s IPL has already seen some magnificent knocks from youngsters. Today, it was Rahul Tripathi who hogged the limelight, with a brilliant display of attacking batting.

The young batsman had shown promise previously but today he finally went on to make that big score and take his side over the finish line
with considerable ease. His knock of 93 from just 52 balls was the highlight of the match as no other batsman managed to get going.

KKR got the early breakthroughs but they were leaking runs. In the first six overs, RPS had scored 74 runs. After that, it was only about
keeping the scoreboard ticking. Gambhir will feel he missed a trick there by bringing on his spinners late. He could have attacked more with his field placements and bowling changes early on.

Earlier, RPS did well to restrict KKR to a below-par score. Jaydev Unadkat and Ben Stokes were pretty impressive with the ball, as they used their variations to good effect.
RPS have won the match by six wickets with four balls to spare! Three wins on the trot for RPS.
19.2 SIX! Colin de Grandhomme to Daniel Christian. Leg cutter short, outside off stump on the back foot pulling, well timed in the air under control over deep mid wicket for 6 runs.
19.1 Colin de Grandhomme to Washington Sundar. Length ball, to leg on the front foot pushing, to third man for 1 run, fielded by Narine.
Collin de Grandhomme will bowl the final over. Tension all around.
This match has now become very interesting. 5 runs needed from the last over with Washington Sundar in strike. But the question is, who will bowl the last over for KKR? Coulter-Nile earlier left the field with an injury and a new bowler will be introduced for the final over!

Who will Gambhir go to? Yusuf Pathan?

A very good over from Umesh Yadav. Tripathi has moved on to 92. I don't want to jinx it by saying it but he has a great chance of scoring a century here. Just needs two hits to the fence. Can he get there?
