Lancashire had a difficult first week but they have recovered well to secure the second position currently, and if they manage to win their next two games, they will not only confirm the top-two finish but also a book the home quarter-final.

The Vikings, however, have been blowing hot and cold in this tournament. They lost three matches on the trot to kick start their campaign but stamped their authority by winning six in a row before resuming the normal service by losing the last three fixtures

They need to win this fixture and hope the results in the other matches go their way in order for them to qualify for the quarters. Their net-run rate is very poor, so they need to win by a big margin in this fixture but beating a star-studded Lancashire team won't be easy

The Vikings already tasted success in the reverse fixture, so it's a good time for the Lightning to get revenge on their home turf
