That brings an end to our coverage of this exciting ECS contest. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live commentaries as well as the latest news. This is me, Avik Bose and my colleague, Navjeevan Rajput, signing off.
With qualification for the knockouts at stake, Marsa CC were in need of a win. Asked to BAT first, Marsa CC could not have had a better start. They managed 64/1 at the halfway stage and looked set for a big total on the board. Nowell Khosla contributed 28 runs from just 13 balls while Zeeshan played another quick inning, adding 25 runs from just 16 balls. Fanyan Mughal and Sumair Khan remained unbeaten and guided the team to cross the 3 figure mark. Sumair Khan remained unbeaten on 15 runs while Fanyan played a blinder of an innings at the depth scoring 22 runs from just 14 balls. From the bowling department, skipper Hirschi took 2 wickets while Gericke and Vosloo struck a blow each. Marsa CC stuck in there and managed 108/4 from their 10 overs.
Chasing 109, Overseas CC managed nothing more than another weary start with 36/3 at the halfway stage. They kept on losing wickets from then on and never really looked in control of the proceedings. The batting scorecard does make a sorry reading with none of the batsman crossing the 15 figure mark. Skipper Hirschi top-scored with 13 runs from 14 balls while Andy Naudi and Gericke contributed 12 runs and 10 runs respectively. From the bowling department, Anand took 3 wickets while Abbas, Niraj Khanna, and skipper Mughal took 1 wicket each. Overseas CC struggled in the middle and finished way short of the target with 67/8 from their 10 overs.

Marsha CC thus complete a dominating performance and win the match by 41 runs while recording a much-needed victory to keep their hopes alive. Overseas CC on the other hand succumbed to another painful defeat.
