That brings an end to our coverage of this exciting  BBL 2020 clash. Stay tuned to Sportskeeda for live commentaries as well as the latest news. This is me, Avik, and my colleague, Dwijesh, signing off.
In search of the 2nd win of the tournament, Renegades won the toss and elected to BAT first. They went off to a decent start and managed 75/1 from 10 overs. Skipper Aaron Finch contributed 39 runs from 32 balls while his opening partner Shaun Marsh played a gem of an inning. He blazed all around the park and scored 67 runs from just 48 balls. But in the middle overs, Renegades lost the plot and started to lose wickets. Mohammad Nabi played a useful cameo of 18 runs from 11 balls at the very depth to steer his team cross the 150 run mark. From the bowling department, Brathwaite and Christian took 2 wickets each while Manenti and Jason Holder struck a blow each. Renegades stuck in there and finished on 168/6 from their 20 overs.
Chasing a total of 169 from 20 overs, Sixers went off to a flyer with 50/0 at the end of the first 5 overs. Josh Philippe played a cracker of an inning and scored 48 runs from just 30 balls. From the middle order, Jordan Silk added 31 runs from 23 balls but a quick flurry of wickets brought Renegades back in the hunt. Jason Holder remained unbeaten on 33 runs from 18 balls and guided his team home. From the bowling department, Mohammad Nabi and Richardson bowled exceptionally and took 2 wickets each along with Imad Wasim who finished with figures of 20/2 from his 4 overs. With 16 needed from the last over, Sixers reached 169/8 from 19.5 overs with 1 ball to spare.

Sydney Sixers thus win this thrilling contest by 2 wickets and notch up their 4th victory of the tournament.

Sydney Sixers win by 2 wickets
19.5 Will Sutherland to Jason Holder, HOLDER WINS IT FOR THE SIXERS! Will Sutherland overpitches yet again and Holder isn't going to miss out on those. He has a good crack at it and launches it over the long-off boundary for a massive six!
19.4 Will Sutherland to Jason Holder, FOUR MORE! A low full-toss outside off, Holder gets down low and gets enough bat to clear the mid-off fielder as the ball dances away over the ropes! This is nerve-wracking stuff at the Metricon.
6 runs needed from 2 balls
19.3 Will Sutherland to Jason Holder, FOUR! This match is still alive! A full ball on off-stump, Holder shuffles across and lifts it over the mid-off fielder for a boundary.
10 runs needed from 3 balls
19.2 Will Sutherland to Jason Holder, wide ball outside off, Holder crashes it to the off-side for a couple but should count himself lucky that the throw wasn't an accurate one from Rossouw at sweeper cover.
14 runs needed from 4 balls
19.1 Will Sutherland to Jason Holder, WIDE YORKER! Will gets it right at last as Holder can't get bat on ball on that one!

18.6 Kane Richardson to Jason Holder, JUST FALLS SHORT! A length ball bowled on the body, Holder is early into the pull shot and chips one just in front of the midwicket fielder as the batsmen run a single!
18.5 Kane Richardson to Ben Dwarshuis, WICKET! Another one for Kane! A length ball bowled outside off, Dwarshuis throws his hands at it and lifts it towards backward point, where Rossouw takes a simple catch. Richardson is doing the trick over here. Renegades are looking a bit ahead in this contest right now!
18.4 Kane Richardson to Ben Dwarshuis, a length ball bowled outside off, Dwarshuis pulls it to long-on and comes back for another run!
18.3 Kane Richardson to Jason Holder, a length ball outside off, Holder dabs it to the man at third-man for a single
18.2 Kane Richardson to Carlos Brathwaite, IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Finch holds on! Brathwaite tries to slog a length ball over the long-off region but manages to sky it towards Finch, who isn't going to drop those! This game is well-poised at the moment. Don't you dare move from your seats. Brathwaite departs scoring 4 runs from 4 balls and that is a huge wicket.
18.1 Kane Richardson to Jason Holder, a slower ball bowled at a length, Holder pulls it to deep midwicket and calls for a double but is sends back Brathwaite, who makes it back just in time!

17.6 Will Sutherland to Carlos Brathwaite, slower bouncer outside off, Brathwaite lets it go hoping for a wide that isn't given! Drama at the Carrara Oval!
17.6 Will Sutherland to Carlos Brathwaite, WIDE! Sutherland errs in his line yet again but is this going to be called a no-ball, for being bowled outside the pitch? Yes, it is!
Costly Error!
