Jason Roy (MoM): Feels great, had a few couples of days, and also a massive turnaround with the team. This feeling of getting a match-winning 50 has been really great for me. We weren't in any stage to consider ourselves after the first half of the tournament, but we have come back really well, thanks to a group of strong-minded people and our character in the dressing room. (On being asked the asked team's mantra for success) Well, I believe we have adapted to the condition really well and have also won games in Perth and away from Perth too and that has been a good plus factor for us
Perth Scorchers win the match by 11 runs

A really good bowling effort from the Scorchers. They have taken the wickets at important stages, dented the batsmen regularly, and then also dismissed the dangerous Larkin, who looked to take the game in his side's favor. Two more points added to their total and they have gone on top of the table in the BBL having qualified after securing a point in the 10 overs, owing to a bash boost.

Coming in to chase, the batsmen Stoinis and Seb Gotch, a new pair for the Stars. They looked to start on a positive note and were successful for the first two overs. They lost the plot from there on as they lost the wicket of Stoinis, with Gotch following suit and Maxwell holing one out. Larkin continued to hold up one end as they ended their powerplay on 27/1 after 4 overs and ended the halfway stage at 69/3

From there on what followed was a positive batting approach. Nick Larkin held up one end, hit the boundaries at regular intervals, and got the big overs under his belt. He had a constant change in partners, but that didn't bog him down as he scored 70 run innings, but fell towards the death. Hinchliffe and Cartwright threatened to chase the score down, but Hardie and Richardson applied rapid breaks as they restricted the stars to 171/6

It has been really good bowling ask from the Scorchers as they scorched their opponents really hard. Their pick of the bowlers were Andrew Tye and Jason Behrendorff as the former returned with 2 wickets and the latter bowled an economical spell and constrained the opponents from scoring the runs

An impossible and an improbable ask stands ahead of the Stars. they need a whopping 25 runs in the last 6 balls. Can they chase it down?
