We will update the Man of the Match as soon as it happens.
Mumbai chase down the target with three balls to spare. Fourth consecutive victory for them in this season. Their first victory against the Gujarat Lions.

What is it with Mumbai and chasing at the Wankhede? Right from the start of the innings they looked in complete control of the proceedings. Despite losing an early wicket, they built partnerships at crucial moments to inch towards a win.

Nitish Rana played a wonderful knock for his half-century to lay the groundwork. Kieron Pollard got the big hits during the middle overs while Rohit Sharma finished it off for Mumbai. Rohit had not been in great form but this innings will give him a lot of confidence.

Looking back, the Lions will rue the dropped catch in the second over. Had Rana been dismissed early, things would have been difficult for Mumbai. Young pacer Basil Thampi bowled two great overs to somewhat lead a fightback but Mumbai held their nerve and scripted an important win.

Earlier, the Gujarat batsmen had done commendably well to post a decent target on the board. But they will feel they fell 10 runs short. They could have scored more in the last two overs but were restricted by the Mumbai bowlers.
Mumbai Indians have won by 6 wickets!
19.3 Praveen to Rohit, 2 runs, MUMBAI WIN! full and wide of off stump, Rohit guides that towards sweeper cover for a couple and completes the run-chase for his team.
19.2 Praveen to Rohit, 2 runs, full-length yorker on middle, flicked to wide long-on for a single. They were coming back for the second, as Jadeja picked up the ball and hit the stumps. However, Hardik was in by an inch. Hardik is very quick. Jadeja does brilliantly but luck doesn't favour him.
19.1 Praveen to Rohit, FOUR! Full length ball from around the stumps, Rohit bends down on one knee and paddle sweeps the ball towards the vacant deep fine region. What a shot! Takes off all the pressure. Read the bowler early, got into position and hit it with finesse.
169/4 after 19 overs. Good over for the Lions. They got the big wicket. The match is heading towards a nail-biting finish.

Praveen Kumar to bowl the last over. Can he defend 8 runs?
18.6 Tye to Rohit, '1 run, full-length ball outside off, squeezed to sweeper cover for a single.
18.5 Tye to Hardik, 1 run, full-length ball on middle,Hardik hits that powerfully to long-off. Tye got a hand out but it was struck too powerfully.
18.5 Tye to Hardik, WIDE! Bowled down the leg side.
18.4 Tye to Rohit, 1 run, full-length ball on middle and leg, Rohit heaves that over mid-on for a single.
18.3 Tye to Hardik, 1 run, full length on middle and leg, flicked to deep midwicket.
18.2 Tye to Hardik, FOUR! Full-length knuckleball, Hardik gets an outside edge to it that takes the ball in between point and third-man. Hardik throws everything at it. Unlucky for Tye.
160/4 after 18.1 overs. Andrew Tye has done it again. Big wicket for the Lions. This match is looking like it will go down to the last ball.

Hardik Pandya out to bat at No. 6.
18.1 Tye to Pollard, OUT! Big wicket! Full length on leg stump, Pollard flicks that high in the air, but finds the man this time on the deep midwicket fence. Pollard looking to finish things off in a hurry but perishes.
160/3 after 18 overs. Excellent over from Thampi. Right on the money. Bowled six consecutive full-length balls and kept it tight. But is a little too late? 17 needed of 12 balls.

Tye continues. Needs to keep it tight.

17.6 Thampi to Pollard, 1 run, Pollard comes down the track to make up for the full length, and flicks the ball to deep square leg.
17.5 Thampi to Rohit, 1 run, low full-toss on middle stump, flicked to deep midwicket for a single.
17.4 Thampi to Pollard, 1 run, another yokrer, angling in, Pollard gets some part of the bat to it, as the ball deflects towards third man and they take a single.
17.3 Thampi to Rohit, 1 run, full length, almost a yorker on middle, pushed to long-on for a single.
17.2 Thampi to Pollard, 1 run, full-length ball outside off, Pollard squeezes that towards Kishan at cover-point, who picks the ball and throws, while Pollard was halfway down the track. Thought he had some time there and waited before diving forward and throwing the ball. In the end, just misses by a whisker. That could have been a game changer.
17.1 Thampi to Rohit, 1 run, low full toss on middle and leg, smashed to long-on for a single.
154/3 after 17 overs. Mumbai should cruise to a win from here. Only 23 needed of the last three overs.

Basil Thampi back into the attack.
16.6 Tye to Rohit, 1 run, short ball, Rohit pulls that to wide deep midwicket for a single.
16.5 Tye to Pollard, 1 run, full again on middle and leg, flicked to deep midwicket.
16.4 Tye to Pollard, FOUR! Tye goes full this time, and Pollard just flicks that one over mid-on and in the gap between long-on and deep midwicket. RAW POWER! The ball flies to the fence.
16.3 Tye to Pollard, SIX! Back of a length ball outside off, Pollard makes room and slaps that over long-off for a flat six. Pollard is running away with the match. McCullum does his best at long-off but the ball flies inches over his outstretched hand.
16.2 Tye to Pollard, no run, Tye bowled one full, Pollard smashed that straight back but hits Rohit at the other end. Unlucky and unfortunate for Mumbai. Rohit Sharma looked uneasy for a moment. Must have hurt a lot that one.
