And that's it from us folks, MI are still alive. Join us again tomorrow to find out if RCB can keep their season alive as well.
Man of the Match is Jasprit Bumrah.
"Clarity is really important when you bowl at the death. That's what I look for. When I'm clear, it's easier to execute. Plans don't change at the last moment (of where to bowl), when you run in. He's batting really well since the start. Not easy to bowl to someone like that. But I backed myself. Knew his wicket was very important. On this wicket, slower ball was not gripping that much from a good length due to the dew. So I bowled the dipper and it worked."
Rohit Sharma: "Holding up nicely. After a win, obviously you feel good. I thought we played a perfect game. Whatever we asked from the boys, they came and delivered in the middle. Never been easy for us since the past few years actually. Knew it was going to be a good pitch. Lost the plot in the middle, could have got 10-15 runs more.

"Nothing to take away from the bowlers. Always knew it was going to be tough for them to come out and defend. Hats off them to deliver the goods.

"Pollard has always been a match-winner for us. Leaving him out was a tough decision. We thought now was the time to bring him back. Not to take away from Duminy who hasn't got opportunities. Come the big game, Pollard steps up for us. He was disappointed at being left out. What he did with the bat today, that's what he does.

"Bumrah has come a long way the past two years. He's worked really hard on his bowling. Not easy to come out and bowl the way he does. Always Malinga will be missed, but since he's gone, we've known Bumrah is the one to take the charge. He might not be up there in the wickets column, but what he does for us is more important."
Kieron Pollard: "First of all I want to thank god. I've seen, I've heard - it brought out something different. Doubt was never there. Thank god for that opportunity. Most importantly, we came out and we live to fight another day. Never easy in T20 cricket - there are a lot of different things.

"Thanks to god for the victory. We'll go to Delhi and see what can come of that. Our season was at stake in the last over and Mitch held it together very well."
R Ashwin: "Pretty blank at this point of time. We were in the chase all along, it was a professional batting performance. Just didn't work out in the end. It looked it was going to be a clinical romp but credit to Bumrah - once again proved what a good bowler he is. Today was one of those days where he had to cap off a victory and do it for ourselves, now we need to depend on some luck.

"We were very abstract about our performance last match and spoke about our best batsmen taking it deep. Credit to Rahul and Finch. It's very difficult to say what Rahul has done right or wrong - he's hardly mistimed a ball this season."
Kings XI Punjab had this in the bag. They had KL Rahul and Aaron Finch batting well but Finch got out and the rate just kept getting bigger and bigger. But Jasprit Bumrah bowled a brilliant spell of death bowling and MI sneak home over the line. This win means that MI are back in contention for a playoff spot and are now in fourth place.
Over 20 KXIP: 183/5(RR 9.15) Bowler: M McClenaghan Sum..: b . wd W 6 b 4
19.6 McClenaghan to Tiwary, FOUR! Short delivery and pulled to the fine leg boundary but it doesnt matter as Mumbai Indians beat Kings XI Punjab by three runs.
This is all over, barring a wide or a no ball. Eight needed off the last ball.
19.5 McClenaghan to Axar, 1 run. Good bouncer by Mitch and Axar looks to flick it over short third man but misses
Nine needed off the last two. What a shot from Axar. Two hits away now, KXIP.
19.4 McClenaghan to Axar, SIX. Full toss and Axar smashes it over long on for a much-needed six. That was in the slot and Axar made the most of it.
15 needed off the last three balls. Kings XI need a boundary off every ball.
19.3 McClenaghan to Yuvraj, OUT! Is it all over? Full and outside off, Yuvraj looks to loft it over cover but he finds the fielder in the deep
19.3 McClenaghan to Yuvraj, WIDE. Way outside off.
19.2 McClenaghan to Yuvraj, no run. Was in the slot but Yuvraj fails to connect. Now 16 needed off the last four balls.
19.1 McClenaghan to Axar, 1 BYE. Wide and full delivery, Axar walks across and looks to scoop it over short fine leg but misses the ball and since he walked across that is not a wide.
That was an exceptional final over from Bumrah. He gave away just six runs in that over. McClenaghan to bowl the final over. He has 17 to defend and two batsmen. This is over, folks. Unless Yuvraj magically turns back the clock.
Over 19 KXIP: 170/4(RR 8.95) Bowler: J Bumrah Sum..: wd 1 1 W 1 1 1
18.6 Bumrah to Axar, 1 run. Full delivery and Axar drives it down to long off. What an over by Bumrah!
18.5 Bumrah to Yuvraj, 1 run. Hits the deck hard and into Yuvraj's body who manages to scuff it down on the on side
18.4 Bumrah to Axar, 1 run. Full toss and Axar fails to take advantage as he mistimes it to long off and it is just another single.
That was the slower ball from Bumrah. That is a much-needed wicket for MI. Yuvraj Singh comes out to bat at No.6
18.3 Bumrah to Rahul, OUT! The slower delivery does the trick! Rahul looks to loft it over long off but mistimes into the safe hands of Cutting. Rahul went for the six that would have got him his century but the bat turned in his hands and it was a simple catch for Cutting.
18.2 Bumrah to Axar, 1 run. Gets it in the blockhole once again and Axar drives it down to long on and it is just another single.
18.1 Bumrah to Rahul, 1 run. Gets the yorker right on and Rahul can only manage to get it down to long off. This might not be such a bad result for KXIP as it forces Axar to take the risk against Bumrah.
18.1 Bumrah to Rahul, WIDE. Tries the wide yorker but too wide this time
23 needed off the last two overs. Bumrah and McClenaghan will bowls them. KL Rahul is inching closer to a century. Who will come out on top? Bumrah bowls the penultimate over.
Over 18 KXIP: 164/3(RR 9.11) Bowler: B Cutting Sum..: 1 1 4 4 4 1
17.6 Cutting to Rahul, 1 run. Gets the yorker right this time and scuffs it out to deep cover
