Sunrisers Hyderabad 158/8 (20.0 ov)
Mumbai Indians 159/6 (18.4 ov)
Mumbai Indians won by 4 wickets
Current Run Rate 8.52
That brings us to the end of our coverage of a comprehensive Mumbai Indians win over the Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium. Tomorrow, we head to Eden Gardens for the first IPL game in Kolkata this year, as KKR take on the Kings XI Punjab. Until then, it is goodbye from us at Sportskeeda.
No Man of the Match presentation, which is weird. And that was a gaffe from Ravi Shastri. Jasprit Bumrah is the Man of the Match for his 3/24.

"This ground is a difficult place to bowl in the end. Today, we had plans, and it was a good day today."

"With variations, if you try too many things, you will go for runs. SO, it is important to have a basic plan and stick to that."

"Right from 2014, Malinga has been very helpful. I keep asking him what to do and how to do it."

"In this time, and especially on this ground, you need to practise with the wet ball and have a plan as to what you are going to do."
Rohit Sharma: "This was a proper platform to showcase our talent with the ball, especially given Sunrisers' strength."

"THe bowling plans that we discussed were executed on the field. When that is done, it takes pressure off the captain."

"We know how Warner and Shikhar play up front. We knew their strengths and weaknesses. A lot of credit goes to the bowlers and the fielders, especially Parthiv Patel behind the stumps, who keeps adjusting the field"

"Very happy with the start. But it is only three games. It was a close game we lost in Pune, and the two games here, we have been fantastic. I cannot ask for more from the team."

"They (Pandya brothers) are very expressive, and that brings the best out of them. We have given them the liberty to keep doing that."

"Absolutely. I am due some runs. I haven't scored many runs, but I'll be back soon.
David Warner: "We were 20 or 30 runs short. This is a tough ground to defend, with so much dew."

"The problem was that one of the top four should have carried on and didn't do that to take us to 20 or 30 runs more"

"Can't fault the bowlers tonight. Bhuvi has been bowling brilliantly. Credit to all the bowlers."

"Rashid put the ball in a bit of water while practising. He is a fantastic bowler."

"We've got to be positive. It is always tough to beat Mumbai here. Now, we have to go to Kolkata and start well."
Mumbai Indians win by 4 wickets. In the end, that was comfortable for Mumbai Indians.

Their bowlers set up this win with a big effort to restrict Sunrisers Hyderabad to 158. Then when they came out to bat, Parthiv Patel got them off to a flier. He hit the ball beautifully as he found the gaps and the boundaries with ease.

Rohit Sharma failed again, but Nitish Rana continued to impress as he made 45 and anchored the chase brilliantly before he fell with the finish in sight. There was a little bit of interest for Sunrisers when Pollard fell with work to be done, but Krunal Pandya made sure that any hope for the defending champions was snuffed out with a 20-ball 37.

Mumbai have their second win in three games, and the Sunrisers have fallen to their first loss in three games. Jasprit Bumrah and Harbhajan starred with the ball for Mumbai, before Parthiv, Rana and Krunal Pandya finished it off with a clinical performance in the chase.
18.4 M Rahman to Harbhajan, 1 run. Slower ball on leg, turned away to fine leg for a single to close out the game.
18.3 M Rahman to Harbhajan, No run. The fielders are all in the ring now.
18.2 M Rahman to Harbhajan, 2 runs. Slower ball on leg, he taps it to square leg and sprints back for two. He's huffing and puffing on the way back and Sachin has a rise smile on his face on the sidelines.
18.1 M Rahman to Hardik, 1 run. Flicked away to mid wicket for an easy single. Rahman has been poor tonight.
155/6 in 18 overs. Mumbai need four runs in two overs. That ends a lovely spell from Bhuvneshwar, who finishes with 3/21 in 4 overs. Harbhajan is the new batsman. Mustafizur will bowl the 19th over, which is likely to be the last over of this match.
17.6 B Kumar to Rana, OUT! Just short of good length, he tries do play a cut short, cramped for room and out bowled. That is another match-winning knock from Rana, who has been a revelation in this IPL.
17.5 B Kumar to Rana, FOUR. Full and outside off, driven over cover this time. Good looking left handed lofted drive. It was the slower ball from Bhuvneshwar, but Rana picked it up very early.
17.4 B Kumar to Hardik, 1 run. Good length, on off, pushes it wide of point this time, easy pickings, no pressure. They're almost home now.
17.3 B Kumar to Hardik, No run. Good length, on off, pushed straight to point.
17.2 B Kumar to Rana, 1 run. Full ball on leg, flicked way to mid wicket for a single. Hardik is hungry and wants one more. Sent back by Rana.
Hardik Pandya replaces his brother at the crease. Rana will be on strike.
17.1 B Kumar to Krunal, OUT! Full toss on leg, he pulls and looks to clear mid wicket, doesn't strike it well and ends up finding mid wicket. That ends a super knock from Krunal, who scored 37 off 20 balls. He has got Mumbai very close to the finish line, and he is disgusted that he hasn't got them over it.
149/4 in 17 overs. 15 runs off that over, and Krunal has sealed the game for Mumbai. Terrific knock this, from the older Pandya. Bhuvenshwar is into the attack.
16.6 Cutting to Krunal, 1 run. Short ball, tries to pull towards mid wicket, but it ends up going to long off.
16.5 Cutting to Krunal, FOUR. Short on the body, he looks to pull over short fine leg, gets a glove over the keeper. It's raining boundaries now.
16.4 Cutting to Krunal, No run. That was short and wide, he misses a late cut. That had another four written on it.
16.3 Cutting to Krunal, FOUR. Wide outside off, he drives in the air over covers. It's getting easy now. This is a gem from Krunal, 32 off 16 balls. He's striking at 200.
16.2 Cutting to Krunal, SIX. Just short of good length, he muscles it over the mid wicket fence. His third six of the night. If one Pandya doesn't get you, the other will. That has been the story of Mumbai's batting this season.
16.1 Cutting to Krunal, No run. Slower ball on middle, defends it back to the bowler.
134/4 in 16 overs. Expensive over from Nehra, 13 runs off it. He finishes with 1/46 in his 4 overs. Mumbai should do this easily. 25 to win off the last 4 overs. Cutting will bowl now.
15.6 Nehra to Krunal, 1 run. Full on off, he outside edges a drive to third man. Nehra would have liked a gully there. Alas, it's T20 cricket.
15.5 Nehra to Krunal, No run. Short and wide, he misses a cut shot. Nehra is running out of options here. He's got to produce something special.
15.4 Nehra to Krunal, 4 runs. Short and on leg, he picks it off his pads and gets it past short fine leg. That's why they have this guy in the team. K-Run-Al, says the big screen, in a terrible attempt at being funny. Brilliant batting from Krunal though. He's on 21 off 11 balls.
15.3 Nehra to Krunal, SIX. Half volley, he smacks it over long on with disdain. That eases the tension. 30 off 27 required
15.2 Nehra to Rana, 1 run. Full toss, driven down to long on.
