That'll be all from the fifth and final one-dayer. It was a long wait for India to get their first win of the tour but it finally came today. Sophie Devine (New Zealand captain): Disappointing. We were 10-15 runs short, and we were let down in the field. We put down a total of 4-5 chances. The girls have been working really hard, but there are a few little details that need to be addressed. When given the chance, everyone has risen to the occasion. We're in a great position heading into the World Cup. We are accustomed to the circumstances and are excited to compete in a World Cup. We know the players have always been capable of doing so. Amelia has been outstanding the entire time, and we have missed her when she has not been around. We need to look at our team before our first game against the West Indies because of a few niggles. It's another chance to cross the border and help the country. The weather was perfect today. We love playing here in Queenstown, it is an amazing venue. The groundstaff have done a tremendous job throughout the series.

Mithali Raj (India captain): We've improved in the last four games, which is encouraging heading into the World Cup. Prior to the big competition, it is critical to have the proper preparation. Preparing for the World Cup by getting games here was a smart idea. Despite the fact that the wickets appeared to be batting-friendly, the bowlers performed admirably today. Our main focus will be on excelling in all three departments. When I retire, I'll discover that the team is significantly more powerful than it appears. I've had a great time here taking a tour of this lovely town.

Amelia Kerr is the Player of the Series.

Amelia Kerr: I'm delighted to be in Queenstown. It's all about maintaining this form into the World Cup for me. We're on the right track as a squad, and we have a lot of confidence - I believe we haven't fielded as well as we could have in this series, and if we had, we could have saved 20-30 runs.

Smriti Mandhana has been adjudged the Player of the match for her splendid inning up top to set up the tone for the chase!

Smriti Mandhana: I think our bowlers did a splendid job, bowling good lines and lengths, that helped to restrict them to 250. The wicket was good to bat, all the batting unit contributed, myself, Raj and Kaur did well. The first few overs it was difficult but then I spent time in the middle and was able to see the ball well and hit them, I'm happy that I found my groove in this game. Definitely will help going into the World Cup, this series was good opportunity for us to get used to the conditions, turned out to be the advantage ahead of the World Cup, half of the side is still here that played the 2019 WC, so, that's a big boost for us. We've had quite a few close games, girls contributed and we're confident about going into the World Cup, we all will cherish this win and take the momentum into the World Cup.

India 255/4 in 46 overs ( Smriti Mandhana 71 (84), Harmanpreet Kaur 63 (66), Mithali Raj 57 (66)* beat New Zealand by 6 wickets.

What a win, what a win for India! After being asked to field first, they did a great job in restricting the White Ferns for 251 and then chasing it down with four overs to spare. They have avoided a whitewash and this victory will give them some confidence ahead of the World Cup, even though they have lost the series.

Chasing 252, India would have started off as the favourites, considering the pitch and conditions. On a rather dry wicket, Indian batters were likely to do well. They got off to a great start in the powerplay, much due to the poor new ball bowling along with some quality batting from Mandhana. Both Verma and Deepti chipped in to contribute alongside Smriti.

Once Deepti was out, Harmanpreet came out with all guns firing and made sure Smriti did not put herself under pressure. Mandhana, Kaur and Raj all three got to their individual half-centuries and got their side over the line.

As far as New Zealand are concerned, their bowlers were decent but it was the fielding that let them down. Four catches going down in an ODI is a travesty. Their focus will be on this department ahead of the World Cup.

Driven through the covers and India win the fifth and final ODI of the series by 6 wickets!
